Background
Harleen Nicole May aka "Harley" was born on March 19th 1995 to parents Peter Thomas May and Clarissa Michelle May (Maiden name Holt.) She was born and raised in North Hollywood. Peter is a manager for an IT company and Clarissa is a legal advisor. Often, Harleen's father tells her that her parents' story is the geek getting the cheerleader in the end, which she's tired of hearing now (and not wanting the mental image of her parents fucking.) Her dear father also didn't think that eventually, people would make the joke about her that 'everyone's ridden a Harley' which is a joke that to this day, earns her ire.
Harleen was named such due to her Father liking the character of Harley Quinn from Batman. Her Mother didn't want her father to give Harley the middle name "Quinn" and instead chose the name of her Mother, Nicole.
Her family and her life was well to do. In high school she picked up Spanish pretty well, and learned she has a knack for learning languages. Later in life she picked up French, and wants to learn many more languages! She also took part in physical activities like volleyball and cheerleading.
Harleen has also been fascinated by music videos, especially in the Hip-Hop, R&B, and Pop categories and when she got out of high school, she wanted to pursue a career in dance. It's something her Mother almost did (as Clarissa used to do ballet) but chose to get into Law instead for the money. Harleen's parents helped her get into Los Angeles City College for their dance program.
Nowadays, Harleen teaches dance classes and has been a backup dancer in a variety of Hip-Hop, R&B, and Pop music videos.
