Be warned. Bowen's End Carver & Eiry Backstory Eirlys was born in upstate New York to a Welsh family of famous mediums. Many of them naturally gifted by legacy, the family immigrated to the United States in the early 1800’s, just in time for the Spiritualism Movement. Some even say they played a large role in jumpstarting it, financing cohesion through periodicals, tours by trance lecturers, camp meetings, and missionary activities of famous mediums. A mysterious house fire resulted in the deaths of her parents and siblings, save for a baby brother who was taken in by old relations back in Wales, while Eirlys was sent to live with her Great-Great-Aunt, Lenora Bowen on the Northwest side of Los Angeles where she was raised from the age of nine. Two years ago, her elderly aunt passed, bequeathing quite the estate to Eirlys. Without many funds left to keep the manor from crumbling completely from neglect, not to mention finishing her Art Degree at UCLA, Eirlys has no choice but to turn to her skills as a Medium for extra money. The only problem is.. it is whispered the Bowen Family is.. cursed. Bits & Bobs Medium for Hire!: Eirlys needs money to keep the roof of her home from caving in on her head, and to supply kibble for the dozens of black cats she lives with. Will work with any splat! 'Haunted' Mansion: Bowen's End, Eirlys' familial estate, is said to be swarming with ghosts. Its current sorry state of disrepair doesn't help dissuade the rumor. Place is creepy. Art!: She paints, and is pursuing an Art Degree at UCLA, with a scholarship. Sleep: Eirlys is a very lucid dreamer and sleeps a lot. Her dreams (and nightmares), inspire her art. No photos, please!: She despises having her picture taken. It upsets her greatly. Library of Death: Included with Eirlys' inheritance is a gargantuan library dedicated solely to the study of all things spooky. Every flavor of Restless Dead, the Necromantic Arts, Spiritualism, and other related topics. The 'Miss' Matters: Rarely does she allow anyone to call her by her first name alone. She is Miss Bowen.
