Private schools, expensive clothes, fancy cars, travel to foreign and exotic locations, lavish parties with the rich and famous... It still wasn't enough. She was missing something vital and couldn't put her finger on it. By the time she was 21, Isla had seen it, done it, tried it, and was over it. Her father, Michael Marab, well known defense attorney to the stars, wanted his daughter to go to law school and join his firm. Isla's rebellious nature would never conform to her father's wishes. Her mother, Cynthia, a former model turned socialite, warned her daughter she would not be able to get by on her looks and charm forever. Beauty fades. Deciding both her parents were only trying to continue controlling her, Isla eschewed their demands and decided to forge her own path. This path led her no where good and with no one of great value, but, what they did lit a fire inside of her. It was dangerous and thrilling and addicting. It would also lead to her 'demise'. After a chance encounter with a man by the name of Trent and the unfortunate incident with his well loved flip flop, Isla left the Los Angeles area for a couple of years.
