• Glass Walkers: The Balistreri family is well-known among the Wise Guys. Their history of weapons manufacture and smuggling dates back not decades, but centuries. Renata started her 'coming up' in the family earlier than most, and by 2015 was in charge of the Genovese weapons-smuggling and distribution operation.


• Organized Crime: Renata Balistreri was, until recently, a gun runner smuggling weapons through New York and Newark, working for the Genovese crime family. She is infamous (and hated) among competing organized crime groups like the Yakuza, Russian Bratva and Armenian mob.
