My voice is still for war.
~ Joseph Addison; "Cato, A Tragedy" (1713), Act II, scene 1

Background

His father was a Bone Gnawer. His mother was a stray dog.

His father didn't live to see him born. His littermates didn't make it out of the drowning-bag.

The river didn't kill him, but the streets would have... if he hadn't fallen under the protection of Uncle Raccoon and Grandmother Rat.

He loped from San Diego to Los Angeles, driven by the dreams his godparents gave him.

First change, on the way. A journey of revelation, in the Umbra. Bane-flesh in his teeth. No more running dog, no more hiding dog. Now the wolf moon has called him.

Where the hand of the Wyrm reaches out, his mouth awaits like an open gate.

RP Hooks

Dog of Chaos: Bites-the-Hand has no respect for the human social contract, which can be funny and can be terrifying. In his human guise, he is mildly famous on Nextdoor comment threads, and not in a good way.

Spirit Heritage: He was raised from a puppy by his spirit godparents, Grandmother Rat and Uncle Raccoon, after he was lost to the streets. Now, in addition to his excellent rapport with all the spiritual powers of Man's urban demesnes, he communes directly with the animistic essences of urban objects around him. Maybe it's just his vivid imagination, or maybe there's something more to it, but don't be shocked if he has a conversation with a horrific necktie.

Ingenue: Bites has gaps in his understanding of the world. He's a ripe target for Exposition about World of Darkness lore - or, for that matter, basic elementary school education. He's learning fast, probably!

Ahroun: He is always down to go kill banes. Or Pentex executives. Or golfers. Anyone at all, really, his moral compass is highly questionable..

Bone Gnawer: Bites has a very thin understanding of his Tribe, but is eager to learn more... from someone besides Uncle Raccoon and Grandmother Rat, who tell the same stories every time.

Contacts

Bites-the-Hand has friends on the other side of the Gauntlet. With Spirit Heritage 5, he can talk up the spirits of the city, but will he ever think to do so?
