Biography

If schadenfreude was made into a person it would be Millicent. Who else would actively pursue a career in city planning, license and permits and go to work every day delighted to be there at the counter pointing out tiny bureaucratic mistakes that crush citizen's hopes and dreams of having grandma's 100th birthday party at her favorite park, or building a tree house for their children? While many have come and go from the city permits desk, Millicent has been there for almost 10 years and very much enjoys being the queen of her paperwork kingdom.

City Hall: Millicent works in the city planning department and is a Sr. Permit Official. If you need approval for something you probably need to deal with her.

Notorious RBF: Millicent is well known within City Hall (and anyone who needs to deal with her department a lot) for being kinda a bitch. The only time she smiles during work time is when she finds some sort of error that means she's going to get to say no to an application.

Ruthlessly Efficient: Despite the fact that she's kinda bitchy, Millicent is ridiculously adept at navigating the bureaucracy of local government and as a result if she is motivated to ensure something gets done she is able to pull together the resources to cut through almost all of the red tape quickly and efficiently and bring it into being with surprising speed.

Extremely well connected: Millicent's position brings her into contact with a vast array of do'ers in Los Angeles; film studios, contractors, businesses big and small, law enforcement, emergency services etc... as a result she knows 'a guy' in many areas and that guy probably wants her to sign off on his next project so....

Contradicting Values: Pro Big Government, Pro-Regulation of everything, Pro Laws of all kinds, Pro Gun but also pro registry. Millicent is the anti-Libertarian.

Not all work: Millicent isn't only at work, like everyone else she can be found out on the town seeing the sights and mingling with folks.
