Hailing originally from Kyoto, Japan, he teaches Japanese martial arts at Crimson Tsubaki Dojo, a small martial arts studio in Little Osaka. Kiyoshi is a shy, cultured young man with a deep interest in art, beauty, and spirituality. He doesn't talk about himself much, but is warm to strangers, and willing to lend an ear or a hand. RP Hooks Kendo, Kenjutsu, and Iaido: Although Kiyoshi teaches all Japanese martial arts, these are his specialties. Calligraphy, Poetry, Painting, Piano: He is a hobbyist, not a professional, but enjoys expressing himself artistically when he is able. Long Walks: Kiyoshi prefers walking to driving or riding, somewhat unusually for Los Angeles. Find him strolling all over the city, even in unlikely places.
