Overview The Carillo family has been in Los Angeles for three generations now, a transplanted Uktena kin family from Guatemala. Agustin's father was an Uktena theurge and his mother kinfolk. The family lives in South Los Angeles, poor, but thriving. The family owns GuateMaya, an authentic Guatemalan eaterie in South Los Angeles, along with a couple of food trucks. It truly is a family business, the kinfolk predominately earning their living through the restaurant. Agustin is born 29 September 2001 to Paulo Carillo and Marissa Carillo. Agustin has his first change in July 2017 under the watchful eye of his father and his father's pack, thanks to the warning by a kinfetch spirit his father placed upon him at birth. They keep him from murdering the strung out druggy that tries to rob him on Figueroa Street and get him to an abandoned building. They begin teaching him earnestly. January 2018 tribal shamans choose Agustin and some other cubs for a group Rite of Passage, charging them with bringing a group of kinfolk to Los Angeles from Guatemala, per request by a spirit emissary of Uktena. March 2018 the cubs accomplish the quest and are awarded the rank of Cliath. Agustin earns the name "Finds The Way Home". It is further revealed that one of the liberated kinfolk is of particular interest to Uktena and the Tribe. Agustin is selected by the emissary spirit to protect the ward, Ignacio. Agustin's father and his father's pack die in battle against Black Spiral Dancers while Agustin is away. April 2018 - Present With the help of his kinfolk, Agustin settles Ignacio into Los Angeles. They live with Agustin's mother until Agustin is 18. Then the family provides Agustin and Ignacio an apartment of their own. Ignacio is provided the paperwork to be Ignacio Castillo, goes to school, and settles into his new family. Agustin juggles caring for Ignacio and doing his part for the Sept, serving in one of the guardian packs.
