Biography
Cassady Winnifred (Hartwell) Hawthorne is the black sheep of the ostentatiously wealthy and fame mongering Hartwell family. Not so much because she's daring or scandalous, but because she's quiet, withdrawn, and according to some rumors, crazy as a sack full of weasels. Originally from the area, she's spent most of her childhood and teen years 'away' (for varying definitions of 'away' that according to the rumors may include kidnapping, psych wards, and Swiss boarding schools or some combination thereof). Now she's officially an adult and since her parents death last year, on her own. Word is her ridiculous inheritance is tied up in probate, and there's whispers of onrushing conservatorship. But she's back in L.A. for the first time in years.
Word has it that recently she married Alexander Hawthorne, owner of Drake Consulting. An odder match could hardly be imagined.
