“I am terrified by this dark thing, That sleeps in me; All day I feel its soft, feathery turnings, its malignity.”― Sylvia Plath, Ariel

...

Biography
Approximately ten years ago, Indigo Jones was struck down by a fleeing suspect and placed in a coma. Before then he had been a rather well respected homicide detective with the LAPD. The public was shocked and well wishers sent messages to the hospital. A tragic but inspiring hero story...

Unfortunately at the scene, evidence was found on his body that had gone missing from the LAPD and a internal investigation started even while he was laying unconcious. Not long after he woke, it leaked to the public and over the next few months more details about the kind of cop Indigo was slowly was released. He took and gave bribes, kept the guilty out of prison if they could help him solve his cases, stole evidence cover for others, roughed up people and trafficked in narcotics. Anything to get what he considered...the real justice. The investigation was very public...and through either internal help or just plain dumb luck, anything tying him to the crimes was lost or mishandled. He was cleared of the charges but the public outcry was such that he was still released from the force.

He was silent, hiding, a ghost for ten long years. Solitary gets old though and Indigo has acquired his P.I license and walked into the light.

RP Hooks
  • Notoriety: If you were in L.A ten years ago, chances are you saw the coverage on the news
  • Weirdly Succesful: There are rumors, he's uncannily good at sussing out things. To the point, many have wondered if he's cheating some how. Whatever the case is...sometimes.. he just 'knows' things he shouldn't.
  • Pit of Dispair: The man is a heavy, heavy drinker.

Faded ink, Manilla Folder, Sticker reads 'M'

The rain cascaded down in heavy sheets, casting a somber hue upon the city's labyrinthine streets. Neon signs flickered weakly, struggling to pierce through the gloom that enveloped every corner. In this world of shadows and secrets, where darkness clung to every facade, a fierce woman emerged like a beacon of defiance...

...A raven-haired enigma with piercing dark eyes, she possessed a lethal grace that could freeze a man's soul with a single glance. She moved with a predator's instinct, her lithe frame emanating an aura of untamed power...

...The detective had always been fiercely loyal to her, going above and beyond to defend and protect her from the dangers that lurked in the shadows. He had risked life and limb, trusting in their unspoken bond, convinced that she would do the same for him. But as he studied her steely demeanor, the doubt crept in, whispering tales of a one-sided loyalty...

...the worry that she wouldn't reciprocate his loyalty, that she wouldn't stand up for him as vehemently as he did for her, gnawed at his heart and clouded his judgment...

...There was a magnetism about her that drew the detective in. He saw in her eyes a flicker of vulnerability, buried beneath layers of stoicism and scars both visible and unseen. She had been forged in the crucible of tragedy, and Indigo recognized a kindred spirit within her. They were both broken souls, held together by the fragile strands of purpose and the shared quest for redemption...

...In a city where loyalties shifted like shadows, Indigo's devotion to M remained unyielding. He had seen the depths of her darkness, the demons that haunted her every step, and yet he stood steadfastly at her side. He knew that her battle was not one she could face alone, for the darkness had a way of devouring even the most formidable souls...

...In her, he found an anchor amidst the tempest, a beacon of hope in a world that had long forgotten its own...

...a cacophonous symphony of justice and redemption, fueled by a bond that transcended the shadows...

Careful Cursive, Leather bound journal, Sticker reads 'Lady Fairbrook'

She strutted into the room, her presence as commanding as a queen holding court. Lady Sophia Fairbrook, a name that dripped with prestige and privilege, was a force to be reckoned with. Her hair framed a face adorned with sharp features that exuded an air of self-assuredness. Clad in an elegant black gown that hugged her every curve, she possessed a beauty that turned heads and a power that demanded attention...

...Indigo Jones watched her from a distance, his gaze tinged with a mixture of awe and disdain. Lady Fairbrook was the epitome of confidence, an embodiment of aristocratic arrogance that made his blood boil. She flaunted her wealth like a peacock flaunts its plumage, strutting through the world with a sense of entitlement that grated against his every instinct...

...It wasn't just her opulence that irked Jack; it was the way she carried herself, the way she looked down upon those she deemed beneath her. She navigated the intricate webs of high society with practiced ease, her every move calculated to maintain her elevated status. Her pride was a suit of armor, impenetrable and impenitent, shielding her from the realities faced by ordinary people...

...In the shadowy world they inhabited, where darkness lurked behind every corner, Indigo believed that true strength lay in humility, in acknowledging the fragility of the human spirit. Lady Fairbrook, with her grandiose airs and self-aggrandizing theatrics, was a living embodiment of everything he detested. Her overbearing confidence masked a vulnerability she refused to acknowledge, and it fueled his disdain...

...But as much as Indigo despised her prideful nature, he couldn't deny her power and influence. He begrudgingly recognized that, in this game of shadows, she held the key to unraveling the mysteries that plagued their city. So, despite his reservations, he would swallow his pride and dance alongside her, each step fueling his determination to expose the truth...

...In the dimly lit room, Detective Indigo Jones watched Lady Sophia Fairbrook with a mixture of annoyance and begrudging respect. She was a formidable opponent, a woman whose pride knew no bounds. But beneath that veneer of self-importance, he sensed a vulnerability that he couldn't quite ignore. And as he prepared to plunge deeper into the murky depths of their shared world, he vowed to peel away the layers of her conceit and uncover the truth that lay hidden within...

Block Letters, A collection of yellow sticky notes, 'Doctor Wolfe'

...His presence as captivating as a predator stalking its prey. Tall and impeccably dressed, he exuded an aura of charisma that seemed to ensnare those around him. His piercing eyes held a calculating glint, as if he were perpetually dissecting the vulnerabilities of his unsuspecting victims...

Behind closed doors, however, his true nature revealed itself—a cunning predator, a wolf in sheep's clothing. His every word dripped with manipulation, each smile concealing a darker intent...

...In the detective's eyes, Dr. Wolfe was the embodiment of everything that was wrong with his profession—a symbol of the abuse of power, cloaked beneath a veneer of benevolence. His charming demeanor concealed a dangerous game, one in which he played puppet master to the fragile minds of his patients. He reveled in their vulnerability, using it as leverage to bend them to his will...

...Jones had seen the aftermath of Dr. Wolfe's manipulation—the shattered lives, the broken spirits left in his wake. He despised the way the psychiatrist weaved his web of influence, ensnaring his patients in a tangled mess of dependency and control. His genuine concern for their well-being was nothing more than a charade, a calculated act...

...But as much as Jones loathed Dr. Wolfe and his predatory nature, he knew that his expertise held a twisted value in their shared pursuit of justice. The psychiatrist's uncanny ability to navigate the labyrinthine corridors of the human mind made him an invaluable resource in unraveling the darkest secrets of their city...

...Reluctantly, Detective Indigo Jones made a pact with himself—a pact to utilize Dr. Wolfe's expertise while remaining vigilant against his manipulative tendencies. He would keep a watchful eye, determined to expose the psychiatrist's true nature and protect those who unwittingly fell into his clutches...
