Background
She was born in Shenzen, China, in the late 70's and imigrated to America in the late 90's she immigrated to America, in particular to LA, which was at the height of its economic crash. There she started her career as Writer, and eventually Hollywood screenwriter, after writing several well selling books. Her library of Authoring, and Co authoring covers a lot of Genre's, from Apocalyptic to Zombie Survivor story's.

Sundown in LA: It follows a Wild Cowboy cop that doesn't plays by the rules, but gets the job done, in the crime ridden Era of the 90's. The Hawaii shirt sunglas rocking moustached absolutely-not-magnum-expy cop is accompanied by a young idealistic Rookie of the force. Together they solve Crime and Murder way out of their district, and which usually involves Rich People trying to become even richer by stealing, abusing, and cheating honest, hard working people out of their money, inheritance, and life.
LA Past Noir: Is based upon the Sundown in LA series, however, it plays several years into the future. The Young Idealistic Rookie is no more, the expy of her partner has been killed, and she is driven by vengeance more than the need to do good in the world. The story focuses on the inner turmoil and past aquaintences, that shake the jaded belief of the rookie to the Core. Her Partner may also be still alive, but that is only hinted on and to be revealed in Book #5.
The Crimes she is investigating have gone from the more wacky lighthearted, albeit still relevant, hijinks of the 90's to more serious ones like global polution and the Criminals often getting away with their crimes.
Midnight in LA: Which is a Vampire book series following a rependent young hip 'down with the young crowd' rebel that wants to fight the establishment, but was turned into a creature of the night in an accident. The major focus of this series is not the Vampires, but rather rebelling against the Status Quo, and a lot of raunchy wild sex. It sells, for reasons.
