Mint Studios

History Started with an initial investment from the first wave of the dot-com era, Royce K Mint's personal studio has grown considerably from its single-lot origins and ended up as a much more advanced set of design and support infrastructure platforms. With an in-house sound and foley group, a small-scale orchestra and music department, and a suitably-impressive set of studio lots, it's doing quite well and largely pays for itself at this point. Rounding out the assets is the visual effects team which has worked with the crew since 2007, developing some cutting-edge techniques and brushing off the dust of the old stand-bys, producing quality special effects and some passable CGI, with a small amount of brain-draining from the people over at Pixar, though he's steered clear of Big Mouse ever since a disastrous attempt in 2016. The largest of the backlots is the home of what was once used as the primary set of his biggest horror hit, "Visible", and much of the original decor is now used to round out assorted nearby studios who need that authentic, sometimes-crazy laboratory vibe. Some of it is also used in his office, because it's just adding to the allure of the place. There are tours which move through the studios on weekdays, between 3:30PM and 6:30PM, with stops along key points, free of charge. Want Your Name Up in Lights?
