Background
Samantha, or Sam, was born in a small town up in the mountains of Tennessee. She was bigger than that town could ever hope to hold, but ended up staying there longer than she should have because of a tragic experience that clipped her wings. She still eventually made it out, getting her degree and starting to teach. Her big break came through as she landed a job teaching Literature at UCLA. She has been here round-a-bout a year, but still feels like she hasn't fully settled in.
