Edith Lucy Lee-Prescott, the youngest daughter of the Prescott family, grew up in Beverly Hills amid old-money luxury and social prestige. She raised mainly by the family staff and private tutors, but despite being somewhat ignored by her parents in favor of her older half-siblings, she developed an unwavering work ethic, translating into a dedication to her schoolwork.
In her younger years, Edith had a secret, morbid fascination with crime and murder stories, ultimately leading her to decide on a career as a crime scene investigator. Pursuing this goal, she studied criminology at Berkeley Law before enrolling in the LAPD police academy. Upon graduation, Edith applied for a CSI Technician job at the LAPD's criminal investigation division. She got the job.
Edith's decision to distance herself from her family remains unclear. Regardless of the reasons behind the separation, she remains resolute that she will distinguish herself by her own merits and talents.
It's kind of strange, though. Edith's co-workers have noticed that she's not quite been herself since last year. Kind of... tired? Drained? And recently, she's started to develop these odd facial tics. Moreover, she just shifted to an admin-based role in the criminal investigation division's offices.
