<Alison>
With WWL Glory making its debut in LA under new ownership Alison decided to make the first show; as a fan that is. The famous women's wrestler, Olympic hopeful and martial artist decided to keep a low profile for tonight's events. She wore a pair of baggy black sweats and a Los Angeles Lakers hoodie (gotta support the local team) with the hood up, a matching Lakers hat and a blonde wig to top it off with a pair of sunglasses. She had a bag of popcorn in her hand as she reached her seat situated near the back of the seating plan ready to see what the guys could do here tonight.
<Happy>
Making his way downtown, comes Happy. He's got a seat near the front because that's where the action is! He's bebopping his way down to ringside.
<Terri>
The Hollywood Palladium is hot tonight! People are gathered in the line waiting to get through, passing security checkpoints. People are heading to merch tables and concession stands for t-shirts and merch of their favorite stars and food and drink. Soon it's about that time! As everyone starts to get in their seats, the lights start to dim and a graphic for the WWL starts to show on the screen. Some heavy rock music begins to play as the graphics start to show the matches scheduled for tonight. "Big" Hank Simmons Vs Roger Pedecki. LeBroc Harris Vs Johnny Justice. Bobby Langford Vs Anthony Baxter. Keith Montgomery Vs Frankie Cocheese. Each match seems to get more and more of a pop from the crowd! There's even some pops of pyro as the show seems to be under way.
<Happy>
With libation in hand, Happy's found his seat near the front. It's a little rough juggling things with his arm in a sling. He settles in though, getting caught up in the excitement.

The crowd gasps while looking on in shock.

Aubrey Bench: "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with the victorious Hank after his incredible match against Roger Pedecki! Hank, first of all, congratulations on the win! How are you feeling right now?"
Hank: "Thank you, Aubrey! I'm feeling absolutely ecstatic. It was a tough match, but I gave it my all, and I'm just over the moon with joy!"
Aubrey Bench: "You definitely put on an impressive performance out there! Tell us, what was going through your mind when you were facing such a formidable opponent like Roger?"
Hank: "Oh, it was nerve-wracking, no doubt. Roger is a tough competitor, and I knew I had to bring my A-game. But I also had my supporters cheering me on, and that motivated me to keep pushing forward!"
Aubrey Bench: "You certainly had the crowd behind you! Now, there was a moment in the match where it seemed like things could go either way. What was the turning point for you, where you felt you had the upper hand?"
Hank: "Right, that was a crucial moment indeed. I remember I managed to counter Roger's gorilla press slam and caught him off guard. From that point on, I felt a surge of confidence, and I knew I had a chance to take control of the match."
Aubrey Bench: "That counter move was truly a game-changer! Now, looking ahead, what's next for Hank after this stunning victory?"
Hank: "Well, Aubrey, I'm not one to rest on my laurels. I'll be ready for any challenge that comes my way. Whether it's a title shot or another tough opponent, I'll be prepared to give it my all and keep this winning momentum going!"
Aubrey Bench: "I have no doubt you'll continue to impress, Hank! Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, and congratulations once again on your amazing victory!"
As Aubrey stood confidently in the backstage area, microphone in hand, the cameras were rolling for this exclusive interview. Standing there and smirking, Dr. Lehman Brock Harris, a notorious and ruthless wrestler known for causing chaos in the ring steps into view. With him was his imposing bodyguard, The Orderly, a man of few words but immense power. The tension in the room skyrocketed as they approached Aubrey and Hank.
Ignoring the puzzled looks of the backstage crew, Dr. Harris grabbed the microphone from Aubrey's hand and snarled.
Harris: "This interview is over. Hank, I've got a score to settle with you."
Hank, never one to back down from a challenge, stared down his rival, clenching his fists.
Hank: "You've got a lot of nerve interrupting my interview, Harris. What do you want?"
The Orderly stepped forward, cracking his knuckles in a menacing display. Aubrey, though startled by the unexpected intrusion, quickly regained her composure.
Aubrey Bench: "Gentlemen, this isn't the time or place for a confrontation. Let's handle this like professionals."
But Dr. Harris and The Orderly were not interested in reason. The tension in the hall reached its breaking point as they lunged at Hank, initiating a chaotic brawl and managing to beat Hank down.
Harris: "You need to be more secure with yourself, Hank, because only then will you actually accomplish anything. Here's my card! Call me when you're ready to be a more secure person."
Harris drops one of his business cards down on Hank's chest as he lies there writhing in a great deal of pain as EMT's and staff immediately checks on him.
<Happy>
Happy is just floored at the actions. He blinks and throws popcorn!

Lancaster: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to an electrifying wrestling match! Tonight, we have a clash of styles as LeBroc Harris, the master technician, takes on Johnny Justice, the fierce brawler. The tension in the arena is palpable!"
The match starts with Harris and Justice sizing each other up in the center of the ring. Harris quickly displays his technical prowess, using his expert grappling skills to keep Justice at bay. He maneuvers gracefully, attempting to outmaneuver the powerful brawler.
Lancaster: "Harris showing his technical prowess here, trying to keep Justice off his game."
As the match progresses, Justice becomes increasingly frustrated with Harris' strategy. Unable to overpower him with sheer force, Justice resorts to using the ropes and corners to his advantage, unleashing a barrage of hard-hitting strikes and heavy blows. The crowd seems divided, with some fans cheering for Justice's aggressive approach, while others are rooting for Harris' technical brilliance.
Lancaster: "Justice resorting to his brawling tactics now. He's trying to overwhelm Harris with brute force!"
Just when it seems like Justice might take control of the match, Harris counters with a picture-perfect arm drag takedown, transitioning smoothly into a submission hold. He's applying immense pressure on Justice's arm, leaving the brawler writhing in pain.
Lancaster: "What a counter by Harris! He's got Justice in a dangerous submission hold! Will he tap out?"
Justice grits his teeth, refusing to give up. He manages to power out of the hold, and the two competitors engage in an intense back-and-forth exchange. Harris continues to focus on precision and technique, while Justice relies on his raw power to launch devastating strikes.
Lancaster: "This is turning into an absolute war inside the ring! Both Harris and Justice are giving it their all!"
Suddenly, The Orderly, a menacing figure approaches the ring, seemingly fixated on Johnny Justice.
Lancaster: "Oh no, The Orderly obviously has bad intentions here and this could spell disaster for Justice."
As the referee is momentarily distracted by The Orderly's presence, Justice seizes the opportunity and goes for a knockout punch. However, Harris evades at the last moment, and Justice's fist connects with the turnbuckle instead.
Lancaster: "Harris escapes the knockout blow! Justice just hit the turnbuckle!"
With Justice temporarily stunned, The Orderly seizes the moment to slide into the ring and puts Johnny down with a tremendous powerbomb.
Lancaster: "No! Turn around ref."
By this time, The Orderly exits the ring before the referee turns around as Harris has a big smirk etched along his face.
Lancaster: "Justice just got put down by The Orderly and the referee has no idea."
Quickly making his way over to the fallen body of Johnny Justice, Harris quickly applies a Crossface, but Justice is completely unconscious as the referee immediately signals for the bell to indicate that this match is over.
Lancaster: "LeBroc Harris with the win! But this victory is marred by The Orderly's involvement. The fans are letting their displeasure be heard!"
As Harris stands tall in the ring with The Orderly at his side, Donovan Lancaster reflects on the match and the impact of The Orderly's interference. The story of a technical wrestler prevailing over a brawler is overshadowed by the controversial ending, leaving everyone wondering what repercussions await in the future.
Lancaster: "The interference from The Orderly has certainly left a sour taste in everyone's mouths. We can only hope for a fairer outcome in their future encounters."
Harris and The Orderly smirk as this capacity crowd shows their disdain for the duo who utilized underhanded tactics to give Johnny Justice his defeat tonight.
<Terri>
Aubrey Bench: "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here backstage with the victorious LeBroc Harris after his grueling match. LeBroc, congratulations on your win. How do you feel?"
LeBroc Harris: "Thank you, Aubrey. I feel fantastic! It was evident from the beginning that I would win because I am so secure in myself, unlike my opponent Johnny, who clearly lacked confidence."
Aubrey Bench: "It's great to see you have such confidence in your abilities. Can you elaborate on how your self-assuredness contributed to your victory tonight?"
LeBroc Harris: "Of course, Aubrey. You see, I know I am the best, and that unshakable belief in myself allows me to perform at a level beyond Johnny's comprehension. I'm not surprised by the outcome; I expected it."
Aubrey Bench: "Some might view your confidence as arrogance. What would you say to those who find your attitude a bit off-putting?"
LeBroc Harris: (smirking) "Oh, Aubrey, it's not arrogance; it's just the truth. People who can't handle my confidence are simply envious of my greatness. They should learn from me instead of being intimidated."
Aubrey Bench: "Fair enough, LeBroc. Let's talk about the match itself. Johnny put up quite a fight. Did he manage to challenge you at any point?"
LeBroc Harris: (laughs condescendingly) "Challenge me? Aubrey, that's adorable. Johnny was like a little puppy trying to keep up with a lion. He had no chance from the start."
Aubrey Bench: "Strong words, LeBroc. What's next for you?"
LeBroc Harris: "Aubrey, I'm a class above everyone else. There's no one worthy of stepping into the ring with me. I'll consider my options, but honestly, I doubt anyone can provide a real challenge."
Aubrey Bench: "Well, there you have it, folks. LeBroc Harris, a man secure in his abilities and unafraid to show it. Thank you for your time, LeBroc, and best of luck in your future endeavors."
LeBroc Harris: "You're welcome, Aubrey. And to all the viewers out there, remember, greatness like mine doesn't come around often."
Harris smirks as he and The Orderly walk off.
<Happy>
Happy boos at Harris!! He doesn't like him at all!!
<Terri>
We're greeted to an overhead shot of a WWL wrestling ring. It pans out to show that the arena we are in is completely empty.
It is empty, save for two figures that are standing in the nose bleeds. We focus on them, to see the newest signing on the camera's left, "The Oracle" Otis Young, and to our right and his left, Velvet Samson. The two are standing there, silently, staring down at the ring.
Otis Young: Tell me, Velvet. What do you see? Don't worry, there are no wrong answers.
Otis takes off his round sunglasses, tucking them in the collar of his black sweatshirt and adjusting the black beret on his head.
Velvet Samson: I see a ring?
Otis Young: Yes. Yes it is a ring. Do you know what I see?
Velvet raises his brow, silently asking with his facial expression 'what?'
Otis Young: I see opportunity. You see, that is a wrestling ring, yes. But a ring? A ring is a mat. A ring is just 3 ropes on each side, and a mat. Anyone can make a ring, if they want. People have been known to make rings in their own backyards. What I see here is an opportunity. For far too long, we have been made to feel as if we shouldn't be on top. We've been made to feel like we need to crack jokes, dance, or say nothing and do our thing like we're somebody's toy. Like we're somebody's living toy.
Otis points his right hand down at the ring in a defiant manner as he looks over his shoulder to Velvet.
Otis Young: I say enough. Enough of being regulated to a comedy act. Enough of being told to go out there and dance. Enough of being told we're good, but not good ENOUGH. ENOUGH! They say wait until opportunity comes knocking, but I say we make our own opportunity. I say we don't knock on opportunity's door, we kick it DOWN! We kick it DOWN, my brother! We kick it down and we say this is our home now! We take what's ours!
Fade.
<Happy>
Happy cheers! Woohoo!! He's having a blast!
<Terri>
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to tonight's match! We have the valiant Bobby Langford and the devious Anthony Baxter. As they step into the ring, the atmosphere is charged with excitement and tension!
Donovan Lancaster: "Donovan Lancaster here, your ringside commentator, and I can feel the intensity building already. Bobby, the crowd's favorite, exudes confidence and determination, while Anthony, the master manipulator, wears a sinister grin."
The bell rings, and the match begins. Anthony wastes no time, aiming for a cheap shot on Bobby, but Bobby sidesteps and blocks Anthony's underhanded attempt. Bobby's sheer size advantage is evident as he towers over Anthony, using his strength to overpower the villain at every turn.
Anthony resorts to dirty tactics, distracting the referee and striking Bobby with foreign objects smuggled into the ring. But Bobby's heart and spirit refuse to be defeated. He perseveres, shaking off the pain and rallying the crowd behind him with an impressive display of resilience.
Donovan: "Bobby Langford is proving that heart goes a long way in our business! He's absorbing every dirty trick Anthony throws his way and coming back stronger than ever!"
The crowd chants Bobby's name as he launches into a series of power moves and body slams. The audience roars with approval, and Bobby feeds off their energy, mounting an awe-inspiring comeback.
However, Anthony doesn't give up easily. He targets Bobby's legs, attempting to weaken his base, but Bobby's determination remains unshaken. He shrugs off the pain and unleashes his signature move, "The Foundry," a devastating maneuver that leaves Anthony gasping for breath.
Donovan: "What a display of power from Bobby Langford! He's defying all odds, showing why he's a force to be reckoned with!"
As the match intensifies, Anthony resorts to more desperate tactics, attempting to use a hidden brass knuckle to knock Bobby out cold. But just as he's about to strike, Bobby catches a glimpse of the shiny weapon, dodges the punch, and delivers an earth-shattering clothesline, sending Anthony sprawling to the mat.
With the crowd on their feet, Bobby sets Anthony up for his finishing move, the "Driving Steel." He almost takes Anthony's head off with that devastating uppercut and then makes the cover on a fallen Baxter.
The referee counts.
1... 2... 3!
Donovan: "He did it! Bobby Langford has defied all the odds and triumphed over Anthony Baxter! What an incredible display of heroism and determination!"
The crowd erupts in jubilation as Bobby's arm is raised in victory. Despite Anthony's underhanded tactics, Bobby's unwavering integrity and sheer size advantage prevailed, proving that true heroes can overcome any challenge.
<Happy>
Wow, lots of dirty tricks!! Happy just stares at the match with disbelief! Wasn't fond of Bobby winning!
<Terri>
Backstage in the arena, we find Richard Drake and his manager, Eugene Bartholomew, looking disgusted.
Richard Drake: "Last edition of Glory, Frankie Cocheese, you got lucky! Luck can only carry you so far, my friend. But let's not dwell on that. Eugene and I are here to set things straight and claim what's rightfully ours."
Eugene Bartholomew: "You see, Frankie, Richard is the true embodiment of wrestling prowess. He's been honing his skills for years, and his dedication to this sport is unmatched. Your victory at the last Glory? It was a fluke!"
Richard Drake nods in agreement, a fierce look in his eyes.
Richard Drake: "Frankie, you may have had your moment of glory, but that's all it was - a moment. Now, Eugene has a proposition for you, and you better listen carefully."
Eugene Bartholomew steps forward, exuding confidence as he speaks on behalf of Richard.
Eugene Bartholomew: "Frankie Cocheese, on behalf of Richard Drake, I challenge you to a rematch!"
Frankie Cocheese, who happens to be nearby, hears Eugene's challenge and steps forward, ready to accept.
Frankie Cocheese: "You think I got lucky, Eugene? Well, let me tell you something - I earned that victory fair and square. But hey, if Richard wants another taste of defeat, I'll gladly accept the challenge!"
Eugene Bartholomew scoffs, disgusted with Frankie's response as he wasn't aware that Cocheese was nearby.
Eugene Bartholomew: "Whoa now! Look Frankie, we know that you're used to getting everything you want but here's what I want you to understand. If you truly want a rematch at my client, Mr. Drake, then you need to EARN it! We are not the Salvation Army, we don't give handouts, and you would be best to remember that."
Frankie nods, showing determination and resolve.
Frankie Cocheese: "You're on, bitch!"
The tension in the backstage area escalates as the challenge is set, promising an epic showdown in the future between Frankie Cocheese and Richard Drake. The anticipation among wrestling fans grows, eager to witness these fierce competitors clash once again in the pursuit of glory.
<Happy>
Happy watches the screen gawks.
<Terri>
Donovan Lancaster: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to tonight's match between Keith Montgomery and Frankie Cocheese. We have an intense match lined up between these fierce competitors."
The bell rings, and the match begins with both wrestlers sizing each other up in the center of the ring. They lock up, displaying their incredible strength, and the crowd roars in excitement. Frankie gains the upper hand with a quick takedown, but Montgomery quickly counters with a jaw-dropping escape.
As the match intensifies, Eugene, who's lurking ringside, tries to distract the referee with some sneaky tactics. The crowd boos in disapproval, knowing Eugene's reputation for interference. Meanwhile, Richard tries seizing the opportunity and attempts to slide into the ring to punch Frankie with brass knuckles covering his fist.
But wait! The ever-vigilant Montgomery catches sight of Richard's sneaky move and shoves him off the apron, to the delight of the audience. With Richard out of the picture, the focus returns to the electrifying action in the ring.
As Montgomery turns around to focus on his opponent, Frankie seizes the opportunity and goes for his finishing move, the "Toe Tagger Clothesline." He whips Montgomery into the ropes, and just as Montgomery turns around, he's met with the devastating impact of Frankie's move!
The crowd gasps as Montgomery crashes to the mat, and Frankie quickly covers him for the pin.
The referee counts.
"One, two, three!"
It's over! Frankie pulls out the victory in this intense battle, showing incredible skill and resilience.
Donovan Lancaster: "That damn Eugene and Richard. What was shaping up to be an incredible encounter was ruined because those damn heathens decided to put their noses where it didn't belong."
The crowd erupts into applause and cheers as Frankie celebrates his well-deserved triumph.
<Happy>
Happy woohoos!!! He's having a blast! He is sweating now from all the excitement.
<Terri>
Standing by in the backstage area is the beautiful blonde bombshell, Aubrey Bench, who has a microphone in hand and is set to interview Daniel Prodigy.
Aubrey Bench: "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with the one and only Daniel Prodigy, who is set to compete in tonight's Main Event against a mystery opponent. Daniel, you seem pretty confident about this matchup. Care to share your thoughts?"
Daniel Prodigy: "Aubrey, confidence is an understatement. I'm not just confident; I'm certain that tonight, I will prove once and for all that I am the best in this business. No matter who it is, I'll make them eat their words, just like I always do."
Aubrey Bench: "Strong words, Daniel. But facing an unknown opponent can be quite challenging. Aren't you at all concerned about who you might be up against?"
Daniel Prodigy: "Concerned? Aubrey, please. I've faced the best in this industry, and they've all fallen before me. This mystery opponent is just another nameless face that will meet their end at my hands. It doesn't matter who they are or where they come from; they'll be no different from the rest."
Aubrey Bench: "Some might call you arrogant for dismissing your opponent before even knowing who they are. What makes you so sure that you'll be victorious tonight?"
Daniel Prodigy: "Arrogant? No, I call it confidence in my abilities. I've trained harder, sacrificed more, and I possess the skills that no one else can match. Tonight, the world will witness the dominance of Daniel Prodigy once again. My opponent is inconsequential; they won't stand a chance against me."
Aubrey Bench: "You certainly have a way with words, Daniel. But isn't there a chance that underestimating your opponent might lead to your downfall?"
Daniel Prodigy: "Aubrey, my greatness isn't determined by who I face; it's determined by my undeniable talent. I'm not underestimating anyone; I'm simply stating facts. The mystery opponent, whoever they may be, will get the same treatment as Stevenson or Parker or anyone else who dares to challenge me."
Aubrey Bench: "Well, we'll certainly find out soon enough. Any final message for the fans and your potential mystery opponent?"
Daniel Prodigy: "To the fans, prepare to witness a spectacle tonight. The Main Event will be the showcase of my greatness. And to my mystery opponent, I hope you're ready for the beating of a lifetime because you're stepping into the ring with Daniel Prodigy, and tonight, you'll become just another name on my ever-growing list of conquered foes."
<Happy>
Happy prepares for the next match! He's all in at this point!

The arena buzzes with anticipation as the wrestling legend, Scotty Addams, steps into the ring to face off against the pompous Daniel Prodigy. The crowd cheers for their beloved hero with the Never Say Die attitude.
The bell rings, and the match begins with both wrestlers locking up, showcasing their immense skill. Scotty, with years of experience, gains the upper hand early on, executing impressive takedowns and punishing strikes that send Prodigy reeling. The crowd erupts with cheers as it seems the legendary Scotty is on the path to victory.
Donovan Lancaster: "Scotty taking the youngster to school right now and Prodigy looks hot."
But Prodigy, fueled by his arrogance and desperation to prove himself, fights back fiercely. He resorts to underhanded tactics, using the ropes for leverage and targeting Scotty's knee. The referee warns Prodigy to play fair, but he smirks, knowing he'll do whatever it takes to gain the upper hand.
Donovan Lancaster: "Prodigy showing that he'll do absolutely whatever it takes, even if the referee has to warn him."
As the match progresses, Scotty rallies and counters Prodigy's attacks, showing why he's a true legend in the ring. With a display of heart and determination, he comes close to pinning Prodigy multiple times. But each time, Prodigy manages to kick out just in the nick of time.
Donovan Lancaster: "I may not like his style or arrogance, but there's no denying that Prodigy has heart and really wants this."
Frustrated by his inability to put Scotty away, Prodigy's arrogance takes over. He looks around, realizing the crowd's admiration for Scotty, and decides he can't let the veteran win the match. With a malicious grin, he deliberately strikes the referee, causing the disqualification.
The crowd boos loudly, disappointed in Prodigy's unsportsmanlike conduct. Scotty is visibly frustrated, but he knows he had Prodigy on the ropes. As Daniel exits the ring, he walks backward on the ramp, taunting Scotty with his words.
Daniel Prodigy: "You see, Scotty, you'll never be on my level. I'm too good for you, and I won't let you steal my spotlight. You can't keep up with the future of this business. You'll always be a step behind, living in my shadow."
Scotty remains in the ring, a mix of anger and disappointment on his face. The crowd, however, rallies behind their beloved legend, chanting his name in support. Scotty may not have won the match, but his legacy and the love of the fans endure.
As Prodigy disappears into the backstage area, Scotty stands tall in the ring, his pride and determination still evident. The wrestling legend may not have achieved victory tonight, but his spirit remains unbroken, and the fans know that the legacy of Scotty Addams will never be forgotten as the show fades.
<Happy>
Happy chers for Scotty!! He's still got it though!
