Bared on your tomb, I’m a prayer for your loneliness
And would you ever soon come above unto me?
For once upon a time from the binds of your loneliness
I could always find the right slot for your sacred key

Nymphetamine Fix, Cradle of Filth

Background

Looking back,it was probably inevitable I'd drop out of college. It's not that I'm dumb or even lazy, but just that, well, look at me: I'm young, I'm hot, and I'm terminally online. All of which means that by my sophomore year, I had a social media following that probably rivaled some lower-tier porn stars, up-and-coming rock stars, and even a few well-known names who weren't yet fully household names. I could pretend it was because of my makeup tutorials or whatever, but every girl who gets into this knows better. Sure, I've probably inspired a few girls' looks, but most of the audience is horned up dudes breathing hard and probably fogging up their monitors.

Anyway, that became a kind of fame, and fame became not quite an addiction, but close. Still is. I'm still young, I'm still hot, and I'm gonna put both those to use so I don't have to work another retail job or go sit in an office and get sexually harassed by a boss. Better to be groped at in the club, where at least I'm expecting it, you know? Besides: it's LA. I'd rather party for an unforgettable decade than live a longer, healthier, but ultimately boring life.
