Who's Jayne E. Daisy? Just some hard working fella, trying his best to get by in Los Angeles. Oh sure, he's been on the beat for a while now and probably has a story or two to share over a beer - but at the end of the night? He's just another one of the boys in blue who serve and protect on behalf of LAPD's 77th precinct down South. What department? Probably something to do with traffic or commercial crimes. Who tracks these things, anyway. A cop's a cop.
For anyone who happened to party on the Strip, Beverly Flats and Hills, oh, about fifteen years ago? The late-oughts to early twenty-teens? The might remember Jayne - or his beautiful wife, Dakota Daisy (nee Calderwood) who he absolutely adores. They went out a lot back then, really were engrained in the scene - though Jayne gave that up a long time ago. They've been married something like nineteen years, can you believe it? Devoted. That's what Jayne is: hopelessly devoted to his wife and kids. He's a family man.
Must be tough though, right? Being a family man who still has to work a job doing whatever with the LAPD. Long days, odd hours, always on call - and a guy's still got to find time to unwind, take a load off without burdening the family with work troubles, eh? So sure; Jayne can be found on occasion, having a boy's night out across Los Angles' various haunts. Not that he's really a partymonster - not like he was when he as younger, lord no. Family man, hard worker, celebrated asset to the force: that's what Jayne is. Yep.
No mystery then, as to why he might be seen letting loose now and then. All work and no play would make Jayne a dull boy, indeed.
