Ana Victoria
Ana Victoria Ramos was born in the early nineties in a small town north of Mexico City. Much of her childhood life was spent on the road, traveling with her mother and father from opportunity to opportunity. The lack of roots beneath her feet shaped her perception of life profoundly, inspiring both a certain whimsicality to her disposition as well as a longing for stability. It was this want of stability that inspired to study, and study hard. She dreamt of being the first in her family to obtain not only a high school education, but a college one as well.
Through hard work and a little bit of luck, Ana Victoria was accepted into the University of California Los Angeles. It was there that she saw her childhood dreams realized. She graduated with a degree in psychology, and met the man who would become her husband. Patrick Ryan and Ana Victoria were, throughout much of their young adult life, inseparable. They were, for all intents and purposes, completely and entirely in love -- an ideal couple.
Their love culminated in the birth of their Daughter, Flora Ramos-Ryan, when Ana Victoria was only twenty-three. But love can be finnicky and fleeting, especially with the added stress of a career and a child. What began as a wildfire slowly tapered into something else entirely. While Ana Victoria still loves the man she used to be in love with, the two have begun the process of separation.
Ana Victoria now lives with her daughter, and enjoys the bulk of the custody. Her father sees her every other weekend, and he prefers it that way. He has prioritized his career, after all. One of many in a long string of disagreements that led to their eventual separation. Juggling her own career while placing Flora first is a difficult task for a single woman, but Ana Victoria does so happily, freely, and without resentment. Even on her worst days.
Social Work
Ana Victoria is a social worker who specializes in providing grief counseling and therapy, particularly for children, for those without the means to afford it. She is also known for various other forms of philanthropy about the greater Los Angeles area, and those who come to work with her enjoy her seemingly relentless optimism and her naturally warm, almost regenerative, aura.
Healing
It feels good to be around Ana Victoria. If you've ever felt her touch, you know how warm and comforting it can be. While her profession is not strictly around physical healing, those patients whose ailments are physical as well as mental tend to notice marked and rapid improvements. The mind plays such an important role in recovery, of course, and her positive outlook is quite infectious.
A Kind Heart
Ana Victoria is a kind soul and a loving friend. I love forging IC relationships and meaningful, lasting connections. If you or your character wants a friend, they'll be hard pressed to find one more loyal than Ana Victoria.
Slice of Life
Ana Victoria's a single mother with a young daughter, and I play her as such. I absolutely adore scenes where I get to play the two of them together, and if something light-hearted and low-key with a mom and daughter sounds fun to you, please let me know! Obviously a good chunk of WoD thematic elements will be omitted from scenes like this, but life in LA can't be non-stop gloom and doom, right?
