Leif

While Lef was born in Reine, a small and often photographed town among the Lofoten Islands in the north of Norway. His family was the wealthiest around, and still own many of the business in the region. Like modern royalty, Leif grew up wanting little. He had private tutors who taught him English and his normal subjects, and he had a host of friends and little girlfriends (And boyfriends) as he grew into a sturdy teen. He was a bit stand-offish with his family as a child, andf had a bit of an attitude problem.
All of that changed when he was thirteen, however. He was on a camping trip with his father when a freak snowstorm struck the mountains, and they were stranded. As hypothermia began to set in, the Fae Soul within him stirred, and he went through his Chrysalis in the harshest of environments. As his memories of his duty and his True Self flooded in, he found his personality shifting heavily. He found shelter for them, and he kept his father alive until the storm passed. He then guided his dad back to the nearest village. When he returned to Reine he dropped out of school and began dedicating himself to his renewed purpose as a member of the Aesin.
He trained hard, convincing his father to ship in a skilled swordsman and boxer to help teach him. His father found it strange until Leif enchanted him...followed by the rest of his family. They became his Retinue, and like a true Aesin he was protective of and loyal to them, while also serving his agenda. He spent days and days training with blade and bow and shield, before he managed to get in contact with another Aesin in a larger city to the South. He flew out to meet her, and he swore himself to her Freehold. He was Knighted at fifteen, and continued his training while serving her. The whole family was moved to the larger city.
When he was seventeen, however, his sister was accepted into a private school in Los Angeles, and he went to his Chieftess for advice. She told him that the War was dire in America, too, and that he should travel there to keep his kin safe. So, he went to America and returned to school, making up for lost years while attending a private school. He struggled hard with the Banality of school life, but spent his off-hours in the Dreaming, pursuing quests and goals for the Aesin. It helped keep him level, and even allowed him to grow MORE in touch with his Sidhe side and House.
He graduated school and found himself a bit wayward, unsure of what to dedicate himself to next. Eventually, he decided that it is time to join with the local Changelings.
- Norwegian - Leif is not from here, though he has lived here a few years. He hails from Norway, and could possibly have good connections with other folks from Scandinavia, or who have interests in such.
- Built - He spends a lot of time training. Whether running, lifting weights, or other forms of exercise, he can be found working out outside, or in a gym. Also, he is always looking to improve his fighting abilities. He is a skilled boxer and swordsman and archer, but is no expert. He hopes to change that.
- Shining Host - Sir Leif ap Aesin is a noble of the Unseelie House of Aesin. As brutal as the winters they hail from, they tend to feel more comfortable in forests, speaking to animals and spending time among Fae then humans. Still, at his families behest, he is attempting to spend more time among others.
- Unseelie - Yes, Leif belongs to the Unseelie Court, as do most of his House. They have a different view of the Unseelie Code, though, running it through their Nordic filters. He is a Beast, seeking to control and rule and destroy or subjugate those who stand against him. Still, as a Knight he will serve those who deserve it.
- Gender - His House has a fairly defined view of gender. Men are warriors and hunters, while women actually run everything and tend to be a bit more in charge. Members of the House DO choose to act as the other sometimes, however, and it is not discouraged. They see roles as important, but are not backward in that way.
- Animals - He can speak to, and quite likes, animals.
- Recruiting Family - Normally, Aesin look down on most humans. However, they are extremely close to and protective of their mortal families. He moved here with his parents and a number of siblings, who are Enchanted as his Retinue. SO, I would adore people apping in his brothers, sisters, enby siblings, etc. They can be Kinain, Enchanted Mortals, or something else!
For the images, age him down to about 18-20, and make his extensive tattoos Nordic in theme.
