HH: Lab Meeting
Participants: Addison Aidan Atzi Clint Enzo Felicity Lucas Trillium Wren
Storyteller: Trillium w/ Support by Elyse
Location: Trillium's lab
Date and Time: April 1, 2024 1:25 pm
Summary: Trillium gathers members of the Sept together to discuss his recent findings from doing chemical analysis of the vials of medication found from the High Hopes Needle Exchange.
The lab is loud out for meeting the project is lowered turned on ready to display whatever it is needed to be shown. There is a mixture of food on the table bbq chicken, mash potatoes, salad and some spicy chill, with beers and hard ciders. Trillium is sitting down at the chair next to his computer the gaming chair, as he is looking over his last minute checks.
The twins are letting people into the lab, greeting them as the owner of the place gets ready with a joint in his mouth is drifting smoke upwards with frantic exhales waiting for the full group to get there. He stands now to check the projector turning it on displaying a game of Elden Ring paused, as he flicks it over to another screen now of a PowerPoint of a single medical needle, dripping out acid looking green liquid.
Enzo arrives by himself and waves at the twins as they usher him in. Today he's dressed in a thin black zippered hoodie worn over a dark red t-shirt, with dark and worn jeans and battered, tightly laced black Chucks. Waving to Trillium and then the others as they enter he pats his pockets down until he finds his cigarettes and shakes a filtered end out of the soft pack. "If you're smoking in here I'm going to guess its cool for me to smoke too?"
Joan soon enters, eyes on the projection screen at first before falling on Trillium. She puts her hand up to get his attention, waving and smiling. "Hey, how's everything been? Been a minute." She asks. Then, she's turning her attention to Enzo, to which she gives another smile and nod. Soon she's glancing over at the table with the different food on it. She decides to head over and start fixing herself a little plate of everything. She's wearing a plunge neck, green crop top and a pair of beige shorts. There's a metal nose ring in her left nostril, and a green hair clip holds her hair in a messy bun. There's a pair of white socks and tennis shoes on her feet.
Lucas heads into the lab and mlves first over to Trillium, giving his packmate a fist bump and then he moves off to the side to be out of the way and be ready for things to start.
Felicity shows up quietly, sporting her black hoodie and jeans that have seen better days. She looks to the projector, to Trillium. She lifts a hand in greeting to Trillium. She then finishes looking around at everyone else. Then finally back to the projector. What's being projected? Hm? Hm?
Trillium points upwards at the vents with a little chuckle, with a nod at Enzo. "Yeah bro, it cleans the air, I made sure of it and shit. Keeps it out of shit, lab stuff you know." He grins with a wink at the man, as he walks over to pick up an ashtray with a goofy anime charcter in the center of it handing it over to Enzo, picking up one for himself as he walks over to the side table, to stab out his joint in it.
He turns to nod at Joan throwing up a peace sign. "Been good, been really good just fucking busy with stuff. I'm a Fostern now, but the work is still there to go on." He looks over at Lucas now with a bump as he exhales the smoke into the air the last of it, as he nods at Felicity with a wink. "Hey you, we got to hang out and talk plants, this is not going to be a fun talk. This is going to frankly, fucking suck.
Aidan is let in the door by the twins and enters the lab. He's wearing his typical bomber jacket and dark clothing, hair tied back. Taking a moment to assess the surroundings, the Ahroun decides he's going to post up in a place near the room's rear that can still give him a decent view of the screen and the layout. He gives Lucas a two finger salute and a nod, then a wave to Trillium. His eyes finally rest on Joan, to whom he gives a smile and a nod. Then, he's sat down in whatever chair can fit him and waits patiently for the meet to kick off.
Enticed by the promise of scientific endeavors, Addison has emerged from his swamp. Though upon entering the room, the elder Ragabash purses his lips as he looks around the room. The deep shadows. The single swinging lightbulb. "You live like this?" He asks Trillium, hands in the pockets of his jacket. "What? Would it spoil your cultures to have some decent lighting in here? I've seen interogation chambers cozier than this."
Wren slips in, dressed in her 'random street person' fashion: half-gloves to hide her scarred and inked hands, hood up and head down to hid her face, posture avoidant and hunched. She becomes herself again when she's inside, straightening and pushing back the hood.
Clint is entirely ready for this. He arrives wearing Jack Skelengton lounge pants with a t-shirt that was black at one point but it a mottled selection of greys with purple crocs on his feet. On his back if a brown canvas duffle bag that has a lot of pockets and Opossum patches sewn on. Carried in hand is an OJ gallon jug. Half full with something yellow. He nudges Atzi as they get inside and almost immediately he veers off. Eyes a bit wide like a kid in a candy store as he heads directly for something at random. "Oooooooo." Something that's likely expensive and important.
Trillium nods at addy as he opens the door to the real lab, due to negliate by the man running the event.
There's a polite nod, smile and wave to others as they enter, whether they greet her or no. As she's putting mashed potatoes on her plate, she listens to Trillium's response and nods her head a bit. "I hear you, and congrats!" Once she's satisfied with her plate, she notices Wren and gives her a little upnod. "Hey. You doin' all right? You want any food?" She asks.
Trillium nods slowly his hand is moves now to turn on the project the first slide is nothing but chemicals, as he leaves it up there, and than the next, so many pictures of bonding, chemicals, charts as he looks at the others. "Any of this make sense to you, if so I can leave them up for you to study, or I can explain it. I'm told not to talk or assume others know things, I tend to over simplify and this shit is a big fucking deal."
Enzo nods in thanks to Trillium and then sparks up that cigarette he places between his lips. Puffing the cherry to life he nods to the others as they arrive and then he's paying attention to the conversation, nodding along to show he's following.
"Come on Tril, you are the chemist in Whispers of War. Feel free to expain." Lucas says with a smile. "Im sure Im not the only one here that isnt a chemist." he adds Atzi watches Clint toddle off and makes SUCH a face. "Clint, no touchy." Not unlike trying to keep Nanaue from eating people. Resigning herself to Alpha-wrangling, the half pint Raggie flashes everyone a mildly pained smile before trying to keep herself between Clint and the shinies and intriguing objects.
+ROLL/+DICE> Felicity: Intelligence + Academics vs. 6 -> 0 successes. (9 5 3 2 1)
+LOSE/+BURN> Addison burns 1 Willpower.
Felicity just stares at the chemical stuff blankly. "What's this got to do with funny Wyrm drugs? I'm lost. Yes, please explain."
+ROLL/+DICE> Addison: Intelligence + Science vs. 6 -> 2 successes. (7 7 5 4 3)
Aidan is just chillin' in the back, arm stretches out along the back of another chair. He studies the chemistry slide for a moment and his face remains expressionless. Trillium knows Aidan well enough to know that whatever he put up there is likely Greek to him but doesn't want to interrupt his packmate's preso mojo.
+ROLL/+DICE> Addison: Intelligence + Medicine vs. 6 -> 1 success. (8 6 5 5 4 1)
Addison seems relieved to step into the lab proper. He lurks around for a few minutes, seeming more interested in the equipment than food. Eventually his attention settles on the charts Trillium had drawn up. His eyes twitch with thought behind his glasses as he rubs his chin. He might be a little rusty at this kind of problem solving... "Hrm."
The poster-style slide shows a collection of different chemical compounds, including their composition. There is some description of how they might work together. To those who have some scientific understanding like Addison and Trillium, there is an explanation of how the chemical bonds fit together. Suboxone and benzylisoquinoline alkaloid bonded to a water structure -- likely saline -- and then combining with some other trace chemicals. There is also something very different, something that makes very little sense, as it seems almost to break the organic structure of the compound, covalent bonds almost like an ouroboros around the design.
Trillium nods slowly his hand is moves through them slowly as he spies Addison looking at the man with a nod of his head, moving through the slides of each of them with that final slide, as he waits finger over the button ready with a nod at Lucas and grin at Aidan. Clicks that button to display a big middle finger in the center of it, with a frown face wolf like man howlring. "It's a bane in a bottle!"
+LOSE/+BURN> Addison burns 1 Willpower.
+ROLL/+DICE> Addison: Wits + Cosmology vs. 6 -> 4 successes. (10 10 7 6 5 4 4)
"I did not!" Exclaims the massive theurge as he looks back. "I wasn't!" He looks back tot he shinies and reaches out to touch some machine with the tip of his finger before he gives his attention and looks. Head tilting to the side as he stares at the science. "No. What say?" When Trillium drops the news he points at Atzi and loudly explains. "HA! Was right! Owe cookies!"

"Have heard stories about this type of stuff before," Aidan says lightly from the back of the room, adding, "People putting banes in all kinds of mundane things. Drugs, make-up, toys.. rumors, only, for the most part. It's some sick shit, to be sure." He then grows quiet again, having chimed in with what little he has to offer. He also takes a moment to fish out a roll of joints but doesn't spark.
Wren narrows her eyes, then. "It can't be that for /every/ dose, though, right?" she rasps. "That's a literal fuckton of 'em."
Trillium looks over at Wren with a nod of his head. "No idea, this drug was found and it's brutal shit. If you brig me more I can test it, sure it'll be easy this time."
Atzi snorts an amused sound. "Oreos or chocolate chip?" Conceding the loss with an easy grace - having expected such an end. "Can we reverse engineer it to carpet bomb Gaian spirits?"
"A bane in a bottle. I guess it's better than a bane running around free." Enzo finds himself an ashtray hand holds it in his free hand. Knocking ashes into the ashtray he looks from face to face of those speaking. Nodding a little as he somewhat follows what's going on he does his best to make it appear he's right there with them.
Glancing over to Atzi, Wren blinks for a moment and raises both eyebrows a tiny bit, perhaps impressed. Then the woman looks back to Trillium. "So is it bound up somehow into methadone and suboxone? Or is it a whole separate thing?"
Lucas frowns, "Ive heard of such before as well." a glance to Enzo, "Maybe, maybe not. Who knows what the bane does when the user uses..." a pause, "Or are their clues to that?" he asks, in case the specifics are known. Trillium lights joint with a look over at the others for a long moment, as he looks at Atzi. "I don't do spirits like that, so not fucking clue." He looks over at Atzi and than over at Wren. "But, I can find this fucker and if it happens you know."
Felicity's eyes glaze over at the entire presentation. Bonds this, chemicals that, composition over there. Blah blah blah blah blah bane blah blah waitaminute. Bane? That jerks her attention back to focus on Trillium. "Suboxone and saline make bane? Huh."
And then the other shoe drops. "Wait what the FUCK." Her fist slams into thin air. Failing to find anything solid, she heads to the nearest table, and then slams her fist down onto solid table. "So OUR FRIENDS TOPSIDE are getting fucking Wyrm injections?! Okay I owe Simon two apologies and a Rite of Contrition because that's absolute bullshit. The sooner we murder the turdblossom responsible, the better." "I got somethin' on that, at least a possible lead," Wren says. "I can do the meet but I'm gonna want some quiet backup." She looks to Enzo. "People who know how t'move in the city, or how to stay unseen, probably."
Enzo continues to nod along until Wren looks his way. Giving her a smile he adds, "I'm a master of moving in the city unseen. If you need a hand, I got your back." Nodding at Lucas and the reply on the bane in the bottle he shrugs a little.
Trillium looks at Felicity with a nod of his head, throwing up a peace sign. "Good, let's kill this fucker, let's rip spine out and show her what a god damn claw injection feels like." His voice is harsh, cold as he snarls at the air with a nod at her with a chuckle. He looks over at Wren, with a nod of his head. "I can sneak like a shadow and so can Mike, we will go in with you if you will have us Wren?"
Addison peers up at the representation of the compound. It takes the Uktena a minute, perhaps not used to seeing the information displayed in this very articulated Glasswalker way. "Well... that's one way to visualize the breakdown of the Dharma." He says, tracing a finger around that Ouroboros loop. "--Serpent eating itself. Chewing its own tail. Chewing at the root of the world." Whatever all that meant someone would have to press him for more. Clint may have understood perfectly, however.
He purses his lips, and nudging his glasses a half-millimeter up his nose. before looking to Felicity. "No. Rather. Not normally. The introduction of the Bane makes possible something that would be impossible in Nature." His lips pull out of the purse and into a taut bitter smirk. "To the 'eyes' of human technology this is practically invisible. It looks clean to them. So much that they could probably replicate the compound in an independent study and see nothing dangerous about it. There'd be no way to show this to the FDA in a way that wouldn't breach the Veil."
Trillium nods at Enzo throwing up thumbs up. "Yeah I'll come too bro."
There is something fairly elegant about the way the science has been melded with the spiritual. Even people who aren't well-versed in organic chemistry -- or chemistry in general -- can see that this takes skill. InnovateMed Industries and High Hopes Needle Exchange do not have the resources to hire a chemist that can do this sort of work, and unless there's some fomor Walter White out there, that usually means a large-scale distribution system, which means it points to at least one primary adversary of the Garou in the modern world.
"Let me know what you need, Wren," Aidan says as Wren asks for someone who can move about in urban terrain and can be stealthy. His gaze drifts to Felicity as she slams her fists down on the table. He just arches a brow and nods in her general direction. His only response to killing 'the turdblossoms' dying.
Clint tilts his head tot he other side and continues to stare. His eyes narrow and his nostrils flare. He's quiet for a while while the other's talk. Until there's a very rare word from the huge man. A soft. "Fuck." He pinches the bridge of his nose and takes in a deep breath through it with his eyes closed. "Yes. And maybe." Is answered to Atzi after his eyes open and his hand drops down. "Disease bane. Crimson Pestilent." He nods and points to the charts. "Is chemical that make bane easier. Make person use weak. Hard resist. Hard fight off." He points off at nothing and flutters his hand in like a butterfly until it lands on his chest. "Is like call. Bring bane for weak people."
Lucas nods to Felicity, "Thats the thing with something like this. Need to stop the spread immeadiately but also want to get to the root of it, not just the low hanging fruit. Doing both is generally the challenge." he frowns further. "Most of Whispers of War is solid in stealth." he assures Wren. "Its kind of essential in urban warfare."
Lucas nods to Clint as he gives out the essential spirit information, the frown settling deeper.
Atzi wrinkles her nose, glancing between Addison and Clint, thinking. "So a feedback loop? Or like, uhh... getting a cold, and that cold distracting the immune system so a bigger, badder virus can stomp on in." She opts to get some food to distract Clint from shinies so she can focus better, loading a plate high to pass off to her Alpha. "I have all that hair and scalp bits I gathered from the roof. And the needles. It's just taking time to track it all down and collect and cleanse to try and reduce secondary spread."
Felicity hmms. "I can do stealth too, if we move at night." She nods to Lucas, then Trillium and Enzo and Wren in turn. "Just let me know the objective." Then to Trillium in particular, "Though my personal priority is to extract Derrick from the hot mess he's in. Is there something Veil-friendly we could show him? Like, hey the methadone's being replaced with saline, or something like that?"
Trillium nods slowly at Felicity, think for a long moment with a little chuckle. "Yeah, I got an idea about that bring me a ton of their needles. I can mix up something that will register as poison, something foul as fuck and get them shut down if you can get it to the right hands. Want me to do that, it'll be easy as pie." Wren takes in the volunteering, glancing to the speakers, though her face says nothing. "There's another site for cleansing, too," she rasps, glancing to Atzi. "Innovate Med office where I took out a nasty fucker. Got some info from it, not a lotta new stuff. The otha lead, the one that wants an in-person, might get us more. Prisoner to interrogate. If it's not a dead end." She pushes herself away from the wall she's been holding up, and moves to find a chair for some strange reason. There's a tightness around her eyes.
Felicity snarls at Trillium. "You wanna add MORE poison to the area?! Nu-uh. No thank you."
Trillium looks at Felicity. "No, I mean if you want to expose them for doing bad drugs. That way you can show Derrick it, you just asked it."
"Victims who won't die will eventually fomorize," Addison assesses with a nod to Atzi. "Wyrm... used to be a part of the natural cycle. Death and decay that serves to feed new life. But when Wyrm became trapped and went mad many of those forces became Broken. Decay that doesn't sustain life. Rot that persists indefinitely. Cancer that perverts both the Wyld's Spark and Weaver's Structure with tumors that agonize before killing the victim or worse." He points up the the visualization as if to say 'there you have it'.
Wren looks over to Addison, expressionless as ever. "Makes sense. Got one there,
"I can help on a stealth run, but that'd take away from the containment and tracing work I'm doing. Entirely up to you guys." Atzi offers, pros and cons both. Addison is nodded to, the urbanized wolf thinking. "A warp in a quickly spinning disc will quickly fall out of balance."
Wren looks over to Addison, expressionless as ever. "Makes sense. Got one there, maybe on guard or somethin'. Didn't ask before killin' it."
Trillium exhales the smoke from the joint into the air with a little sigh of displeasure. "This is going to be a mother fucking cluster fuck, okay cool info is out there and now we need to cool our heads and make a plan. So, yeah I can do something to make it mundane bad, if you want to go that route to tie them up. So they don't get more in their, FDA or whomever you guys got as connections like that. Two, we can get another sample for me to check, see how wide spread it is, or three fuck them up and kill it all, burn it the fuck down. I lean more towards one or two, the rest of you?"
"Death is preferable to what they become," Addison says in a somber tone, implying both the horribleness that comes with fomorizing and perhaps the horror of personal experience of finding this out for himself. "You freed them. Whoever they were." A pause follows as he turns and /carefully/ assesses Wren with narrowed eyes. "...Be sure to have Clint or someone Cleanse you after fighting these things. Killing the host doesn't always put the Spirit out of commission. We no longer have Medicine that can cure this kind of Infection once it really sets in."
Lucas nods to Atzi, "Seems to me there is a value in attacking it from multiple angles...the spiritual side, tracing and containing banes drawn in and the stealth run, dealing with the more mundane sides?" Clint nods at Atzi. "Yes. Like that. Weak bane can go in. All bane save strength." He looks between Trillium and Felicity. "Burn it. Keep human govmen out." He smirks and raises a hand. "Can remove banes from possess."
Felicity looks at Trillium all confused-like. "Didn't we already figure out that there's... nevermind. I'll figure something out. If nothing else I'll spin a story about secret Illuminati plots and get Derrick to a safehouse somewhere."
Aidan watches all the exchanges. He's tucked a joint behind his ear and responds to Trillium with a look to Lucas. "I'm for a multipronged approach as well. Let people do what they are best at. If there is shit to be burned, let's burn it."
Wren gives Addison a swift nod. "Wilco, Callah," she rasps. "Etsa'a Onontsi has the location where it happened, but I'll have someone look me ova. Didn't touch me, but the fucker smashed me up with a pipe some."Trillium exhales the smoke with a nod at Felicity. "Might have miss understood, lot going on you know." He walks over to his gaming chair to flop down into with a nod at Aidan and than and a nod at Lucas. "Yeah, three prong, so than that all I got for info."
Addison nods. "They don't always have to make contact," he says. "If you keep yourself and your home Clean then the Spirit can't follow you there, wait for you to catch a cold, and then try to latch onto you. These things can bear a grudge like-- Well. Like you'd probably believe." He goes onto explain. "When we hunt these things, we destroy the host, then go into the Shadow to deal with the Bane when it's stunned. Peacekeeper-Rhya lead us in hunting Steeljaw this way."
Listening, Wren nods. "Thought about takin' it alive, callin' someone in. But the pigs showed up pretty fuckin' fast. Gunfire in the financial district so... Had to drop the trash in a dumpster and get the fuck out."
Trillium nods at Addision as he exhales the joint with a thoguhtful nod, his hand is moves through his beard. "Yeah, need to find that source and that host, get it downed. Seems like that is the next steps, so no mortals and just us got it." He nods at clint, with a little chuckle. "Seems we got tons to fucking do, and save Derrick it seems." He looks over at Fel with a nod as he nods at Wren. "All good, seems like the wright call."
Aidan chimes in, "You all can do the Sherlock work and find out more details." He pulls the joint into his mouth and lights it up. "But, if you want someone found, a place scouted, or something dead, just point me in the right direction." The Ahroun takes a hit and seems content to wait till his number is called.
Clint points at Addison and nods. "Yes. That." He nods again. "Can Exorcise Bane. But if not kin, is break veil. If is kin...." He makes a face and looks around. Pausing before he says the rest. "...dead could be best. Depends how changed." He pokes at his chest over his heart then his head. "Have some cog can maybe fix mind. All time alive be like torture." He shales his head. "Dead should better." Another nod and he looks back to the charts. "Warn all kin know. Tell spread news. Will try spread news bad drugs to homeless." He looks towards Trillium with an brow raised. Glances at Felicity then back. "Maybe Derrick can no be saved. Maybe can. Need all be ready if can't. Do quick. Make no suffer."
Atzi makes a thoughtful sound. "Sometimes, death IS the mercy. But not the first mercy we should reach for." She considers. "Alright, I'll keep working on my efforts to contain any secondary or residual spread through the hair and needles I found. I can divert and throw a hand in wherever, if needed. I can cleanse, summon, and bind, too, in a pinch. But any Theurge is going to be a preferred option."
Enzo crushes his cigarette out in the ashtray he holds and then puts it aside. Checking his phone he gives a quick wave, motions like he's pointing to a watch to show he's gotta run. With that he adds, "Simon I think has stuff covered if we're needed." With that he's out the door.
Wren glances over to Atzi, a humorless twitch at one corner of her mouth. "Seein' as how it was tryin'a beat me to red mush at the time, I din't feel super merciful." Her mouth twists then, in a little mobster-moue.
She looks back to the door to give Enzo an up-nod.
Clint turns to look at Wren and tilts his head to the side. "Need more sneaky. More talky. Less.." He makes finger guns with both hands while going pewpewpewpewpew. "Too many draw much attention. If guns feel only option. not enough prepare. Plan not good. Plan for not need shoot. That good plan." He turns back to look at the charts. "Have more? Need one lady breathe on. See what different."
Aidan just grins as Clint speaks. He's now leaned back in his chair and taken another hit off his joint. "That's why I use arrows," the Ahroun says, "best of both worlds. But, there's a time and a place for both talking and guns. It's why there's a half moon and a full moon." The Coggie just leaves it there.
Wren's mouth twists to one side again. "That, an' some of us can't exactly go close in with five hundred pound Fomori swingin' big-ass lead pipes."
Trillium exhales the smoke into the air as he looks between each of them studying for a long time, as he thinks on it all. "Seems like stealth is the options, Wren plan it out and it seems and call in those you want, Mike is great at this stuff. I'm good as well, so how you guys want to do and this and with whom?"
Clint pinches his nose and lets out a heavy breath. He looks at Aidan and then Wren. "Yes. Has place." He points towards all the science stuff. "We need info now. Is recon. Dead enemies can no give info. Dead enemies puts enemies on greater alert. Make more attempts harder. Maybe impossible. Maybe one dead means they pack up. Move. Start over. Then we need start over. But with them now on alert." He shakes his head. "If recon plan, has fight as only option. Is very bad plan." he rubs his face and looks at Wren. "Never said get close. Said plan to avoid fight. Plan to avoid notice. Plan to not alert enemy more."
"I was thinking of the others, not just the self-defense you had o handle." Az muses, quieting as she listens. Content to let people more inclined to work in the light handle the who does the what.
"Hey, that's the usual plan," Wren rasps. "*I* didn't know someone was gonna be in the office at midnight." The Kin gives him a deferential nod though. Message received. "And f'this thing... the meet..." A look over to Trillium. "I'd be aright with someone else doin' the face to face. But you guys oughta know the rest of it."
The Kin rises, her face going tight as she moves. Too restless to stay still, maybe, while talking about war.
Aidan listens to Clint and nods. He takes another draw of his joint and then flicks off the ash, having only smoked about half of it. He then tucks the joint away in his plastic case again and pushes to his feet. Mostly to Wren, but also to Trillium, he says, "You guys have my number. Let me know if you need my skills." A beat. "Won't be offended if you don't call me. I am new to this whole deal."
Wren nods to Aidan. "You eva done overwatch?" she asks.
Clint nods at Wren. "Always expect someone. Always plan will be more. Be ready for more danger than expect." He gives her a big thumbs up. "Sometimes, ball still curve. But plan for someone there. Always." He jabs a thumb over his shoulder to point it at the duffle bag on his back. "No harm in be more ready. If more ready, will be easier." He waves a big ass hand at Aidan. "And yes. Fight for not die."
"Quite a few times," Aidan says, "It's normally what I do for groups I go with. I don't have a problem camping out in a spot for awhile and covering everyone's asses if things go south." He gives Wren a wink and zips up his coat a bit. Clint is given a two finger salute and a smile as he lingers to speak to Wren.
The Walker Kin nods a couple of times at that news from Aidan.
Then one corner of Wren's mouth twitches the tiniest bit, as she looks up at the big guy. (Well, okay, Aidan's also big, just not quite so... massive.)
"So, ah... the cleansing thing. You got time? Or if not, I can call Etsa'a Onontsi, ask him."
Clint nods at Wren and pulls his duffle bag off and reaches into a pocket. He sucks a breath in a pulls his hand out quickly. "Ow." He reaches into other pockets, pulling out a number of things. A little Fireball bottle. Some matches wrapped in string. Chalk. Etc. He points at the floor. "Stand there." Completely ignoring that they're in a lab that his very presence would contaminate anyway, he starts drawing circles on the floor around the spot he pointed at.
Aidan, looks down at Wren and just arches a brow, then without another word, clearly having said his peace, looks like he's about to head out. Giving everyone a final nod, the tall Garou makes his way toward the exit and exits the lab.
+ROLL/+DICE> Clint: Charisma + Rituals vs. 7 -> 2 successes. (8 8 7 5 3 2 1)
With a Cleansing in the works and duties to attend to, Atzi heads on out to do whatever Raggies do when unattended.
Wren's eyes widen a tiny bit. Clearly she wasn't expecting here and now. But she moves, and stands where directed. For some reason she's mildly uncomfortable with the whole... ritual... thing.
Addison watches the Cleansing for a time. He's seen Clint Cleanse many times before, though, and eventually gets distracted... thinking Coyote Thoughts...

Wren's eyes are still tight, and afterward... she just gives Trillium a quiet nod and says, "I'll call you." Then she flips up the hood, hunches her shoulders and slips out.
Addison eventually comes out of his disassociation episode and turns to Trillium. "Thanks for the presentation. Data visualization is always helpful when it comes to educating people on the spiritual side of things." After a pause he asks. "You said a skinshifting woman was involved in this?" A pause. "Well... it appears in the form of a human woman?"
Trillium looks over at Addison with a little chuckle. "Yeah, it does and you know it fits my moon. But, yeah we heard about that a bit ago." He leans back in his gaming chair, with another exhale of the smoke into the air.
