Finn was always an inquisitive kid. His parents always fostered that desire for knowledge by buying him toys that made him think. He was eight years old when his mother got pregnant again and gave birth to his baby brother. Furthermore, he was happy to be there and help his parents with the baby. Not only that, but he changed his diapers, so his parents could rest. He also fed his brother with bottles that were in the fridge. When his brother was almost a year old, his mother was pregnant again, and this time she had twin daughters a year and 10 months after his brother was born. He was excited to tell them all about his passions.

His parents wanted him to be who he wanted to be, which when he was young, he wanted to work with the FBI. Yet, he wanted to make sure his siblings had everything they needed too. He was selfless at a very young age. He'd always put his sibling's needs ahead of his own, and he never felt less for it. In fact, being there for his younger siblings, helped increase his sense of duty to protect the 'weaker'.
The Accident
When he could drive, he was utterly stressed when his parents asked him to drive his siblings to school before he got to his classes. He agreed, but he was the type of person to belt them in, then turn the car on, put kids music on, double check they are still belted up, and then white-knuckle driving them to school. One day he was driving, being very watchful as his cargo was very precious to him, someone T-boned his car. The truck hit him on his side so he was injured, but when he turned around to check on his siblings, they were crying, but none of them had any injuries. None-the-less, he still took them to urgent care. They were fine. Not even a bruise. When he heard that, he started to feel the pain.. All on the left side of his body. The nurses took him to a private room and helped him strip down. He'd fractured his hip, had a transverse fracture of his femur, obviously had a compound fracture in both his radius and ulna bones, a severe concussion, and bruised ribs. He had to have surgery on his arm to fix those and put them back. Finn felt guilty about the accident, and it took time for him to forgive himself. It wasn't his fault. It was someone who was texting and driving. The cops did end up charging him from the investigation that Finn did for them, as when he was done, he delivered his report. He was only 17 and the chief of the department told him his analytical mind is needed on the force.
Up to now
He never thought that he'd actually be able to turn his passion into his job. If you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life. He joined the police academy right out of high school. He was driven and passionate. The police academy was only 6 months long. He passed his training and the LAPD grabbed him before another bureau was able to. He was a beat cop for four years. At 23 years old, he was handed to the Chief of Detectives. The young man was nervous, but the Chief wanted to see where he excelled. He was passed around to different divisions. He decided he wasn't going to choose where he fit. Rather, he was a detective that could float between divisions to assist when the caseload got too heavy.
He enjoyed helping people and delivering justice. Sometimes though, the innocent people were still guilty in the face of the law and while he wished to not press charges, the young man knew that justice needed to be handed out.
