At first blush, Oriana is a friendly, fun loving college student like any other that's just arrived to the city to start her Freshman year at the University. She's light hearted, happy to help others in their studies and loves reading in her spare time. She has a quiet beauty that feels timeless rather than fashionable. Her vivid green eyes are her most arresting feature, bright and expressive against a backdrop of long, thick black curls that tumble nearly to the small of her back. Soft features, smooth olive-toned skin, and a gentle smile lend her an approachable warmth, while her posture and calm gaze suggest intelligence, patience, and self-assurance beyond her years.

Oriana just transferred in from out of state, starting her Freshman year at UCLA. She dresses like she's working an office in the 50's, is a bit prim and proper while still managing to be bubbly and upbeat about most things. She loves reading and learning, and is currently going for a major in Research Assisting, though she hasn't picked a field yet.
Traditions
While Nyx isn't exactly known around these parts, it's easy enough to find out she's from New York. Known at the Chantry in the Big Apple, they'll vouch for her and she has a letter of recommendation from the Hermetic Cabal she belonged to before.
