Ada

From LiberationMUSH Wiki

Some books are dangerous, not to be opened with impunity.
~ Victor Fargas; "The Ninth Gate" (2005)

Background

Ada was born and raised right here in Los Angeles. Her father is a successful surgeon, and her mother started her own business when Ada was old enough that she could work again. They raised her well, and she skipped two grades in school. Of course, she was picked on because of this, but it also means that she is a young college grad. She went to UCLA and graduated with honors, having double majored in Literature and Conservation, and did both cheerleading and track and field while she was there.

Ada had started a small book dealing website when she was still in college, and as soon as she graduated it was big enough to take on as a full-time job. She is still billed as a private dealer with a specialty in rare and exotic books but seems to have found a regular client that has had her doing much traveling the last year. She's back in Los Angeles currently though, and seems to be planning on staying put for a while as she works on building a brick-and-mortar location to go along with her online web store and consulting to move her business to the next level.

Postmodern Jukebox ~ Seven Nation Army ~ White Stripes Cover (ft. Haley Reinhart)
I'm gonna fight 'em all
A seven nation army couldn't hold me back
They're gonna rip it off
Taking their time right behind my back
And I'm talking to myself at night
Because I can't forget
Back and forth through my mind
Behind a cigarette
And a message coming from my eyes says leave it alone
