Surface Level:

Aspen Cruce lives in Santa Monica along with her Thinblood husband and young children. She works at the LAPD's Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit and is also the proprietor of the gelato shop in downtown Santa Monica known as Melt.

In vampire circles, Aspen was generally known for being Christian Cruce's blood-bound wife for some time.

Things have since changed and she is perhaps more an oddity than ever before for having young biological children while being undead. No matter what, this fledgling staunchly strives at keeping her seemingly typical nuclear family unit together despite their very atypical circumstances.

Anya - She's got big ideas and is my brand of crazy.

Brynn - Our baby girl.

Christian - Home is a person, not a place.

Clem - Sister from another mister? She loves Hunter like I do.

Colton - My big, extravagant brother. Did I mention extra?

Hunter - My four-year-old and a terror on two legs.

Kaden - Chillest guy ever. Except when he isn't.

Mal - You keep those pencils away from me, sir.

Rosalia - I see you, Redeye.

Shawna - Not as the crow flies. At all.

Spencer - You really want your obituary to mention a sequel, don't you?

Trent - I am learning to appreciate the simple things. Like you.

Vy - I like her. She's sensible. She can hang.

Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby - Cigarettes After Sex

When we're laughing in the microphone and singing
With our sunglasses on, to our favorite songs
Nothing's gonna hurt you baby
Nothing's gonna take you from my side
Beautiful People - Ed Sheeran

Champagne and rolled-up notes
Prenups and broken homes
Surrounded, but still alone
Let's leave the party
