Pumping Iron: As part of an outgrowth of Gay Masculinity he has started to lift weights and work out. He tries to hit the gym on average three to four times a week. He is not very good at this or any sort of sports yet, but he is making strides and trying to be.
Hey, Aren't You Related To...: His mom used to be the Singer TRUDI! Dahlia Gunnvaldr, age 49, stage name Trudi Locke. Some twenty years ago, she was known as TRUDI! (exclamation mark was dotted with a heart on all branding), a teen pop star who was supposed to be the new and up and coming thing. However, things didn't play out that way. His mother was doing the Big 80s style girl pop-star gig when the world was changing more to boy bands and slicker acts like Britney Spears. Her only real big hit was Our Summer Break is Forever which came out in 1991 and happened to be picked up and played in a rom-com.
Bonus Relative: His Grandmother is Angelica Von Smee-Locke, age 70s. If one watched daytime TV on one of the big canned rerun stations one may recognize her face. Maybe not know her name but definitely recognize her face. Just about any TV program from the 1960s up until the middle 1980s she was either a background character, a named bit character, or a third stringer. Her juiciest role, and the one that can be said to be the highlight of her career, was playing the Mother-In-Law to Detective John Smith on the rebooted ADAM 12; in the middle, Angelica has a nod from the SAGU as being one of the most prolific bit actors in their history having had over 5,000 roles, half of which were uncredited. She, in addition to being his grandmother, is currently Beddie's roommate in her luxury apartment in Burbank. In her more recent turn of 'fame' she has done the game show circuit, appearing on all ten major daytime game shows.
