Bee
Bee is a trans girl and a very, very well bred Black Fury kinfolk. She was born and raised in the Sept of the Moon's Blessing in Appalachia, and it gives her a somewhat backwater and rustic look compared to a lot of her tribemates. While she grew up speaking Greek and English, it always seems to surprise folks when the girl with the drawl breaks into fluent Greek, or cooks amazing Greek food. Still, people aren't one note.
She grew up around the Tribe, and only had a little interaction with the humans in the nearby town of Cumberland Falls. She wanted more, of course. She managed to convince her parents to let her get a television and a laptop, eventually, to add to her homeschooling and so she could feel more 'normal'. It was through this that she discovered why she felt so weird in her own body, and also discovered her absolute adoration of movies. Specifically horror movies. She filled her free time with practicing practical horror effects on anyone willing, and she witnessed a host of true horrors in her life to draw upon for inspiration. She was constantly threatened and berated by a few elders in the Sept due to her transition, but her mother, the Elder Racquel 'Howls-Her-Glory' Bakala defended her to the point that they eventually stepped off. Still, her existance caused more then a few ripples in the Sept, and in the Tribe as a whole, due to her breeding.
Her father, David, a humble Kinfolk, got her a camcorder and paid for her editing software for her fourteenth birthday, and she dove into making movies. She posted most of them on youtube under the name 'Sp00kyGrrl03', though when she became a bit more known she changed her channel to 'Appalachian Dark Productions'. She won a few awards in various ways, and a few of her found footage movies even got released by a few indie companies. Never enough to get her any real money. Recently, she got her parents to approve her going to college far from the Sept. She knows Spirits are watching her, but she does her best to lead a normal life. She won a scholarship to UCLA with her most recent movie, 'The Tangled Thicket On 14th Avenue', and is scraping by. Her parents could lend her more help, but they figure the difficulty of things will have her running home in no time.
- Appalachia : She was born and raised in the Black Fury Sept near Cumberland Falls, in Appalachia. She is a mountain girl, and she didn't get to interact with the outside world much until her mid-teens. She's been working to catch up in spades, but there are times when she can still come off as rather backwater.
- Fury : She is Fury Kin. She grew up in and around the Tribe, and she is as pure bred as they come. Her transition caused quite hub bub for a number of reasons, but the possible issue with her producing more Garou was a bit of it.
- Notable Heritage : Her specific line of breeding is FILLED with famous Furies, both Garou and Kin. Every generation or two someone does something amazing. There are stories attached to them dating back to the Europeans settling in Appalachia, and before that in Greece itself.
- Horror : This girl loves cinema, but especially horror. From the intense and psychological, to 80's slashers, to pure schlock indie cheesefests. She has a host of knowledge on the genre, and quite the VHS and DVD and Blu-Ray Collection.
- Fame : Real horror fans or youtube addicts might remember the creepy pasta home videos made by Sp00kyGrrl03, but most of her mild fame is attributed to "Appalachia Dark Productions'. People who delve into indie horror know her name, and often respect her horrific, very realistically made found footage movies.
- Gender : Yes, Bee is a trans girl.
- Dating : Her Sept didn't really leave a huge room for dating, especially as a trans girl. So, she's lonely and INCREDIBLY inexperienced when it comes to love and what it tends to come with.
- Social Merits : She has both Feral Appearance and Gall, which both make it easier for her to be noted by, and approved by Garou.
