Clio
The story of Cleopatra "Clio" Fernandez is one of rags to riches. Born in Echo Park to poor, working class parents, she struggled through life, and was able to eventually get a full ride scholarship to Yale. She majored in theater and women's studies, and throughout her time at Yale was able to land a few small indie movies that landed critical acclaim on the film festival circuit.
As she grew older, she was able to land in a few commercially successful movies in relatively small parts. Her lucky break came in the form of a supporting actress role in "Splendor in the Green" which landed her multiple awards nominations for best supporting actress. Alas, she didn't win, but those nominations was able to catapult her career even further to where she can be pickier about roles.
As such, she's looking for her next big role, hopefully as a lead actress, and it's rumored that she's going to be cast in a lead for a major franchise potentially from Warner Brothers or the House of Mouse.
In her off time, she's an easily recognizable face around young Hollywood and Echo Park, where she does charity work, trying to beautify her childhood home.
- A-List Actress: Known for her dramatic acting, she's won best supporting actress and new breakout star awards at Sundance Film Festival, Cannes, and others. From there, she's leveraged it into roles that garnered her her first Oscar nomination. Who knows where she'll go from here?
- WMC: William Morris Colossal (the WoD version of WME) is one of the largest talent agencies in the WORLD. They represent only the best artists, creators, and leaders in every category. They have a team of public relations specialists, stylists, and anything else that she needs at her beck and call to make sure she always has the best image possible.
- Charity Work: Where she grew up is no secret and she does what she can giving back to Echo Park, her childhood home. She now is visiting Skid Row, having a few connections to some organizations there.
- Private Life: As an A-lister, she's constantly harangued by the paparazzi. People want to know what she's doing, who she's dating etc. Will you take photos and sell it? Who knows? How is she so elusive? It's like she just appears at places and then disappears as quickly.
- Yale University: She has joined the ranks of many famous alumnae. B.A. Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, M.F.A in Acting from The Yale Drama School. Are you an Ivy Leaguer? Did you go to Yale?
- Heathcliff Arrow - Hired bodyguard. He is stern and does his job well.
- Todd Randell - Bestie. Brother from another mother. Fellow actor moving on to big things!
- Moira Beyber - One of the "Daughters of Hollywood" hailing from the Beyber family. A writer too! Definitely knows what's going on as a Hollywood insider. Get her to spill the tea for prime roles.
- Cheree Crowley - You know that girl that's just best friends with all the Hollywood celebrities and seems to appear in one pic and the other She's that girl!
- Edith - Lesbihonest, she has something going on with Cheree, right? I never got her last name.
- Esther Rosewaffer - That gory scene in Scream Because I Know What You Did Last Summer was intense! If you're ever wondering if cannibals eat kosher, she's the woman to ask.
- Ku - Man with the most delicious golden mangoes ever. Not a euphemism. Literally had mangoes that were out of this world. Going to plant one in the garden.
- Ronnie Chaste (NPC) - Her agent. Known to be a cutthroat negotiator for her client. Partner at WMC, one of the largest talent agencies in the country.
