RP Hooks
  • Writer : Before his Embrace, Felix was a renowned writer. During the height of the Beat Generation he wrote three world-renowned books. They are read in English classes and beloved by outsiders and intellectuals and rebels. They embody the ideals of a time long-gone, with all the freedom, confusion and exploration the Beat Movement stood for. The Storm Out East told the tale of a young Brooklynite swept off the streets and sent to France to fight the Nazis. A tragic and heartbreaking story, it's often mentioned in the same paragraphs as "All Quiet on the Western Front." Downright Rabbit was the story of John Wayward, a pool shark and rebel, who struggled to find himself in the streets of 1960's Los Angeles. Autumn In The Village was a 'modern' love story about a Beat Guy and his Beat Chick, struggling to find themselves while similarly struggling to feed themselves.
  • Ghost Writer : He never stopped writing. In the intervening decades a number of amazing stories have been published by various authors who seem to come out of nowhere, and vanish just as quickly. He's brought thousands of pages of beloved literature to the world, but without a hint of credit to his actual self. Fame would complicate things, he figures, due to his unaging nature.
  • Los Angeles : He was born and raised in Venice Beach, back when it was still just a newly founded beach town. He knew the City of Angels like the back of his hand, though that was over one hundred years ago. He finds himself sitting in places, or standing on street corners, longing for what faded long before he ever will.
  • Camarilla : Felix was a respected member of the New York Praxis for about sixty five years. If you were ever amongst the Kindred in the Big Apple, you might have met the quiet, lonely old Toreador.
  • Painting : His paintings have been displayed here and there over the years, though generally in varied galleries across the country and under assumed names. He takes Victorian Watercolor, but mixes it with scenes of urban life. He often paints portraits for the Kindred who want to remember a certain time, or experience.
