The Fifth Aces Poker Club began as an off-site gambling den for Navy officers in the weeks prior to the US involvement in World War II. Once it began, the poker club became a place of business unto itself as wartime paychecks were cashed, dreams dreamed and fortunes risked and lost. Ever since then it has experienced highs and lows, surviving economic booms and busts with no connection to the outside world's problems. Rumor has it that there's a game of poker which has not stopped since December 6th, 1941.
