Two lost strangers met in the bustling city of Busan, South Korea. A beautiful love story started. They were in love with each other and felt nothing else could bring them happiness as great as they brought to each other. They found out that their love only grew as their little two person family grew to three. They named their son Jaehyun as he inspired them to be closer to each other.
Jaehyun grew up not wanting anything in life. His father would leave after he went to school and his mother would leave after he went to bed. At a young age, they taught him about the value of hard work and at the tender age of eight he wanted to give his parents their dreams. He started begging to go to auditions to get into K-Pop. He loved EXO and APink. He wanted to provide for his family so they could retire early.
He got into one of the big three and at age 9 he moved into the dorms. His classes were music theory, production, instruments but what he took to the fastest was dance. He felt peace when he danced. He felt hope. There were times where everyone but him was cut and he'd be living alone in the dorms. His first time alone was at 10. He decided to just go to the studios and dance. It happened again just around the new year at 13. He spent his birthday alone in a quiet dorm because most of the staff had gone home for the holidays. This is when he started to draw.
He got better and better as the years progressed and he was brought into the head of the companies office. He was told he would debut because he was so beautiful and that he didn't need to try so hard. He left feeling anger. He was more than his face. He went to the main stage and started to dance. With Cello playing in the background, he moved his body in ways he was never really able to before but he didn't question it.
That was the night his world collapsed around him. Very scary and dangerous things happened. Less than half a year later, he was holding his parents for the last time, begging them not to send him away but in his heart he knew they had little choice in the matter. He was on a plane to USA grieving parents he'd never see again or talk to again.
He landed at LAX with only his sketch pads, a broken camera, and some clothes. This is a new world for him. New language, new customs, and different people.
