Runaway: Hollywood has the highest number of runaways, numbering 4,000 homeless youth. Some of the statistics are alarming: 39 percent of the homeless population is young people under 18. 63% of runaways are girls and 37% are boys. Jinx came to Hollywood to escape her home life and make it big, then became a statistic.
