Kelli
Kelli Copeland is the daughter of Stella Grant and Travis Copeland. Her family are originally from the Santa Cruz area of California. Travis was raised by his mother, Penny Copeland. Penny's family travelled a lot when she was younger and she ended up in Los Angeles during the Age of Aquarius. A young handsome Garou Philodox named George Henry claimed Penny as his mate and they decided to move to Santa Cruz to start a new life with their young cub, Travis. Penny was sent ahead with a few others as George was finishing his last mission in Los Angeles, but he fell to the Wyrm when they were on a rescue mission under Temple-Beaudry. Travis was raised by his single mother, but with help from the Sept in Santa Cruz. He was a strong Ahroun who would have made his father proud with his honor and not just warrior spirit.
When Travis found his mate, Stella, he found his other half. Together they setup a mission to work with the homeless population in Santa Cruz, looking for kinfolk that could be in need of help, and generally working against the Wyrm. Friends had told them of the need in Skid Row of Los Angeles and the Sept of the Smiling Angel, and they considered going. When Kelli was born though, neither Travis nor Stella wanted to leave especially as Penny would be heartbroken to not have her granddaughter around.
As Kelli grew up, she always seemed very empathetic and the spirits liked to be around her. When she was 16, she stumbled into a location filled with banes. She was scared at first, but then her garou nature took over and she experienced her first change. Despite the attempts by the banes to overtake the young cub, she was able to run and get away for help - remaining calm and no bane could possess her. In the aftermath, the Theurges all agreed she had something special as the spirits told them that Kelli was blessed.
Penny would tell her stories of her life, and spend a lot of time with her granddaughter teaching her about Los Angeles in it's hayday. When word came of the death of Mason King, Penny clearly was saddened. Kelli was able to console her grandmother and learned of her heartbreak. That is when Kelli set it on her mind after her Rite of Passage to find a way to Los Angeles to bring things full circle. She has worked with not just the homeless in Santa Cruz, but travelled to the southern parts of the county to work with migrant workers and learned Spanish. She ended up finding a few kinfolk of the Uktena amongst them, and heard more of the plight within Los Angeles and why they came there instead.
With a couple of her kinfolk friends, they made the move to Los Angeles, and Kelli has found her place amongst the Sept her Grandparents once called home.
Nature: Kelli is drawn to nature and animals - especially their spirits.
Helpful Hand: She's always looking for a way to lend a hand, save anything and everything she can. Killing should be the last resort, but sometimes is the only choice.
