Background:
Morrighan grew up around Orlando, Florida. Her childhood was, inasmuch as anything can be said to be, normal: generally loving parents, good friends, decent grades in school - she was, basically, emblematic of the typical American girl. At least until puberty kicked in, at which point she began to draw a little more attention from not only boys in her class but older men as well. The former, she found confusing if a little flattering; the latter, disgusting in a way she couldn't quite explain even for herself.
Unfortunately, her disgust didn't much matter to the men who were interested, and may in fact have only made her all the more appealing. She was a pretty girl, and adventurous, and - it turns out - unlucky in the supreme: she garnered the attention of not just perverted older men, but perverted older men with plans and the means to bring them to fruition. She was kidnapped, brought to a secluded abandoned warehouse, and would certainly have been raped in preparation of being trafficked. /Would/ have only because some fortune - of a kind - was with her after all: the mix of extreme fear and anger led to her first shift; and that led to an absolute bloodbath. The men who had wanted her body got claws and teeth instead, and while she would later be found naked and bloody, fortune held firm: it was a member of a local Sept who found her, which allowed the actual events to be muddied enough that media and police alike wrote off the bloody mess to some kind of gang warfare and a grisly message.
That experience as well as Morrighan's burgeoning nature as a Black Fury led her to grow more and more frustrated with patriarchal thought patterns both among humans and the Garou. She has spent the years since striving more and more to break the patriarchy whenever and wherever she can, be it by verbal argument or - in some cases - violent outrage. She has also been for a couple years a member of the charitable organization, Bikers Against Child Abuse. A biker as a hobby, she works with the organization to provide abused children a guardian when testifying at court, working as an escort to shield them from the presence of their abuser - who may at some later point happen to go missing.
