<Deadname> was born and raised in Tijuana. Her dad was Hector Espinosa, a member of Ejercito Popular Revolucionario, a far-left revolutionary group. Her mom was a stay at home who took care of her and her five siblings. At a young age it became clear that she wasn't like many other kids, and she came out as trans at the age of thirteen. Her mom lost her shit, but her dad loved her, and accepted her. In fact, he shot another member of the Popular Army when he said something bigotted about Juanita in his presence.
Juanita's interest in being like her dad became obvious early on. He was a hero of hers. It turned out she was good with explosives, and by fifteen they had her helping build small explosives for various revolutionary purposes. She didn't care what they were used for, as she just wanted to feel needed. After she was attacked in the street by a transphobe her dad forced her to begin learning how to take care of herself in a sight, and the girl leaned very heavily into it. She became very, very good at hurting people, even if she was never used for it within the Popular Army. They had people for that shit.
At seventeen she was helping her dad bury a body in a TJ landfill when she was bitten by a large rat. The bite got infected, and she almost died. Her Birthing Plague ravaged her body and brain, and Padre Rata showed her the truth of this fucked world. It broke her brain and boiled her blood, and she came out of the other end savage as fuck. She frenzied on her caring father and ripped his guts out, along with two of her siblings and putting her mom in a wheelchair before she fled into the streets. She fled across the border to San Diego, where she began to uncover her new nature, and worked to do terrible things to local manifestations of the Weaver and Wyrm. She earned her Infamy at this time, before she bumped heads with the local Colony one too many times, and had to leave the city. Now she is in Los Angeles, and has sank further into her Birthing Plague caused depression.
- Troubled : Calling Nadie troubled is putting it VERY mildly. She is downright delusional in her perception of the world. Padre Rata burned her mind with his scalding power, and she was left damaged. She can come off as fairly normal a lot of the time, but when her blood gets pumping she can get confused and terrible things can happen to people and things around her. Still, Padre Rata doesn't care as long as his War is carried on by people like her.
- Mexico : Nadie is a latina, born and raised in Tijuana. Spanish is her native language, though she can speak English. She has a decently strong accent and can struggle with English words sometimes, but she can communicate pretty well. She grew up within a Far-Left militant arm of the Popular Army, a revolutionary group in Mexico. It heavily effected her mindset and ...skills.
- Trans : She's a trans woman. She had basic top surgery and face feminization surgery done before it happened. Thankfully for her, since they were parts of her before her change, her healing abilities did not revert them to how she was born. She is unable to take HRT, now, however, but she's pretty happy with who she is now.
- Anonymity : A willpower roll (Difficulty 8) is required by non-Shifters to recall details about her appearance. Meanwhile, shifters outside of her pack must do the same with a Gnosis roll (Difficulty 8). They remember the actions she takes, just not what she physically looks like. This is both a blessing and a curse.
- Be Not Afraid : I know all of the above makes it seem like it'd be pretty hard for a non-Rat to play with her, but I am here to roleplay! Even if she's a hot mess in a scene and her features are forgotten, scenes till happen! Don't be afraid to poke me for rp or plot ideas!
