• Alley Fixer - Need something moved, someone found, or a problem to disappear quietly between Skid Row and downtown? Patchwork's the guy who knows a guy. Only deals in favors and parts, cash is insulting.

• The Skid Has Deep Roots - Heavily embedded in Skid Row's cooperative network. Kitchens, informal aid, camps and charities. In general, the people who keep the area functional without official help.

• Knows The Nose - He has a odd, unsettling, uncanny knack for reading what people around him actually need, want or fear.

• Bike Messenger - In a digital age of automation that's pushed out the human element, he's sticking to the grind. But what type of person needs his services these days? Probably someone who doesn't want a paper trail.

• How Do Magnets work? - He's a mad scientist of sort, or a 'Maker' as the kids call it. He doesn't deal in top of the line, cutting edge. It's all cobbled together Frankenstein-ian creations. From clothing to bicycles to old steel death trap Buicks. Need something that works, isn't pretty and full of character?
