Background
Quiet, or more now, Bernadette Bowens, arrived from the east a few years back. To hear her tell it, she is from Philly first, and came west from a life going nowhere. She has now become a fixture in Korea Town and the mid-city, sometimes putting spray paint on walls, sometimes simply lending a hand to those who need compassion. It is said she found religion with the easterners, and supposedly she tends to a shrine, but no one has ever seen it. What has been seen is a close relation to the notably violent 'Kal Gae' or 'Sword Dogs' gang in her area, though how she became involved with a group seemingly her polar opposite is not known.
