Whoever said 'numbers don't lie' must have been brand new to Excel.
LA native returning home after two years up North, Sarita is a graduate of UCLA and a certified accountant. After a brief tour with Herman and Sherman, a local accounting firm with a less than stellar reputation, she landed the role as chief of staff to the philanthropist Cyrus Thorne. Now she's in charge of getting the charitable donations to where they'd actually do some good, and trying to keep the intense novelist out of trouble.
LA is too much city to only lead one life, however, and the weekend indulge her other passion. You can catch 'Sarah Strand' on KWOD radio, a 'growing' station whose antennae almost mostly works! There, you can catch the Midnight March on Fridays and Saturdays, ringing in the new day with the best of Industrial tunes. Sunday evenings brings a more reflective vibe, as she hosts 'Sunset LA', a talk hour on community event, organization, and whatever grinds the gears of a host of eccentric callers.
In person, Sarita in a petite Indian woman who tends toward business casual even at her most relaxed. She's blessed with both a remarkably good voice for radio and a head for numbers, but has a tendency to get flustered when her conversational partners aren't fifty miles away. She's determined to make her mark on LA...and she just might.

Sarita recently accepted a job as the chief of staff for LA's Cyrus Thorne, author and philanthropist. As a result, Sarita is frequently a contact point for those hoping to bend the ear of her patron, and an ally to a variety of worthy causes.

Sarita hosts a couple of weekend timeslots on a local station, KWOD, serving (most) of the LA area. Friday and Saturday are just bumpers and music, but the Sunday show, Sunset LA, is a talk format. With a penchant for spotlighting community activities and nightlife, Sarita can find herself in any organized event.

Despite the above, Sarita herself is not...experienced in nightlife. She actually studied in college, and living a couple of double lives in not helping her when it comes to loosening up. She's trying though, and has been spotted frequently clubs and trendy locations she does not have nearly enough cool to frequent.
