"In this world shackled by the status quo, mine are shattered by some beautiful monstrosity; fierce and alien, so delectably inhuman that I can no longer scent the taint of their inexplicable, utterly despicable mundanity upon him. Instead, only the heady aroma of the extraordinary calls to my own exquisite depravity in a way that I cannot -- and will not -- ignore."
""I'm not singing for the future. I'm not dreaming of the past. I'm not talking of the fist time. I never think about the last". In a world rife with societal decay, you are the fraying of moral and mortal dilemma -- a true libertine, unabashed, unashamed in your celebration of self, and freedom. I never have to wonder with you, but I always dare to dream."
""Behind every exquisite thing that existed, there was something tragic.". What would happen if one were to see the gossamer threads between reality and dreaming, and snipped them free, one by one? If a puppet could dance without the strings of its Master, free as flame and sweet as the breeze, where might the music take it then?"
"What, truly, is the difference between a dream and a nightmare? Perspective, and little else. As love, and hate, they are two sides of an ever-spinning coin. The question you must ask yourself, darling, is whether 'tis wiser to catch said coin, or let it fall where it may."
"A curious thing, humanity. What defines one as human, and what makes one think that they can not be just so monstrous as me? We are a strange dichotomy, my dear, adrift somewhere amidst kindness and cruelty, of lost and found, and the winding road between."
There is a Charm About the Forbidden:
That makes it unspeakably desirable.
- Mark Twain
[[Vampire]]:
A beast, certainly; one monster amid the shadows, waiting for her next prey. Mind, she's a rather picky sort -- could be a good thing, could be very bad. Depends on if she takes a liking, no? Still, she seems rather at ease with some sort of sociality when faced with other Kindred.
[[Toreador]]:
There is so much artistry in this world, and so much of it is oft overlooked by the unimaginative, and the blind. Sima sees. Sima looks. She looks with her special eyes.
[[Virtuoso]]:
The perfection of art -- most especially of herself -- is a constant in her joyous celebration of unlife. It's just a shame so many others are so woefully uninspired in their own care. She could help ... if she were so inclined.
[[Cruel Muse]]:
There are many throughout particular scenes in L.A. that speak of her as a muse -- and a fickle one, at that. She exists to inspire (and not only to sin) the tortured artists of this place, those that see things as something more than what might be acceptable in the reality of the casual observer. She has been known to pose for all manner of art, but absolutely never photography. In fact, she seems to hold some strange disdain for photographers. How odd.
[[Sin]]:
"Vanity is my favourite sin." It is, however, shockingly not her most prolific. Sima is a glutton and a hedonist to a degree that it wouldn't be hard to imagine her roaming about the most debaucherous of Roman soirees. This does not, however, mean that she has some burning desire to do you, of course, but rather that she tends to consume to excess in any situation that she deems worthy of such terrible binging.
[[Anarch]]:
Nobody puts Baby in a corner.
[[Mother of Monsters]]:
In particular parts of Europe, most especially in the regions of the former Ottoman Empire, most-most especially among those in the know in Hungary and Romania, Sima is known as the Mother of Monsters. Finding out why, however, is not the easiest of things. As of late, most assume it's because of the company she tends to keep -- a free Gargoyle named Vandred, of whom she is awfully protective. Those of the Gangrel, Nosferatu, or Gargoyle variety that have been in that area for more than a meander might know more, though few would actually know the entirety of her efforts there.
[[Queen of Hearts]]:
Ah, Paris. The City of Love ... and devastating revolutions. There is such a fine line between love and hate, after all, and few places know that more than France. Here, she was a political figure, prominent in some manner of Court, known for her uncanny ability to sway the hearts of those around her ... and just as known for her violent response to the very same. Events surrounding the origin of this moniker are a little (or a lot) hazy, with accounts suggesting the gamut of some charismatic and warm-hearted protector of freedom, to vindictive, cunning and ruthless villain with a penchant for removing, and prominently displaying, the heads of particular fallen foes.
[[Romani... ?]]:
It's hard to tell where she's from, exactly. She's lived many places, and her accent is not exactly what you would expect of someone from Romania, where she appears to be from by most estimations. Those that know much about the Romani culture -- the less than modern kind -- might be better suited to make their guesses.
[[Occultism]]:
Many will make their assumptions about why she's interested in the topic, but the truth of the matter is a carefully kept secret. The point is, it wouldn't be hard to discover that it -is- an interest of hers, and that she seems far more open -- and significantly more kind -- to those that have something of this nature to share with her.
[[Secrets, Stories and Scandals]]:
Sima is a collector of all of these things. Despite many getting the feeling of the great serpent of Eden when dealing with Sima, there is very little in the way of deception, and even less (typically) in the way of betrayal. She is interested in the secrets of all, and will happily listen to anything someone has to say, from personal tales to grand and improbable yarns from the world over, but the likelihood that they will ever be given to others by her is next to nothing. They're her secrets now, and she is a greedy little glutton after all. ... Rumours, however. Rumours are another story altogether, and she is a bit of a gossip monger.
[[Politics and Power]]:
This shouldn't be a surprise. She is a political player, and once-powerhouse building a new base of support and influence in L.A. From politics, to police, to the positively piccant, she's always interested in friends in the highest, to the lowest places.
[[Pacific Palisades]]:
By now, it's fairly well known that the Palisades are Sima's domain. It's dangerous and anemic over there, anyway, and an unusual choice for a self-proclaimed, proud glutton, but it appears to be working for her. Have business there? You're likely to run into her, or her various friends, but the reception might not be particularly warm when possible guests are unexpected.
