The Board of Los Angeles

Corporate meetings to help plan the clan's steps in the future. Each session is held on the first Monday of the month and held in the conference room of Blesser Tower.

This organizational structure leads to managing funds or taking positions and monitoring the individual Ventrue's investments and their activities. As a general rule, Ventrue does not compete directly for duplicate contacts and resources. Instead, the Board acts as judge of any local conflicts of interest that might arise. For example, if it chooses, the council might demand that a clan member cease their efforts in a particular area, and it can enforce the demand as it sees fit.

The Board operates with two types of meetings: clanwide meetings regularly scheduled to discuss new and old business, hear grievances and reports, and pass down messages, mandates, or announcements from the upper reaches of clan hierarchy. They also hold private meetings on an irregular basis as needed.

Despite the honor and dignity of serving on the Gerousia, the council has very little formal power. It cannot order Ventrue within the city to do anything. Instead, it can, but it cannot directly punish those who disobey.

But not agreeing with the Board is frowned upon by your fellow clanmates.

Titles:

Chairman- Guiding and Managing the affairs of the Ventrue. Owner of the meeting spot. As the person at the center of all Ventrue affairs in the city, he has access to people and information that many other clan members do not. Furthermore, the rest of his clanmates often turn to him for leadership in any crisis, and they tend to follow his instruction without question (or without too many questions, in any event).

Manager: As lieutenants of the Praetor, they keep tabs on what the lower-ranked clan members are up to and take care of the specifics of running a corporation. These include managing nightly financial issues, investigating potential new investments, or ensuring that all the bribes have been paid on time.

Questors: The Questors have no authority over the common Ventrue that hold no rank, but that does not stop them from flaunting their position over the Eiren. They can rightly point out that they have the ear of the elders, whereas most neonates have no access at all. Questors spend their nights accruing favors and goodwill with their superiors, who occasionally help them in return.

Common: Everyone else that attends the meetings that are still Venture.
