If you're a fan of punk or hardcore music, you might have heard of Veronica McLean (fame 1). In the indie punk scene, she's known as one of the fastest basses in the Southwest, and has played in numerous bands such as The Shanks from Austin, TX, The Molotov Minnies from Yuma, AZ, and Chainsaw Cox from Albuquerque. It's all fast, hard, and probably too loud for you, Grandma.

She's a newcomer to LA, and has been seen around town making friends with the various musicians, building a name for herself, and hopefully, forming a new band herself. She has this great concept, you see, but has yet to find just the right mix of "FUCK YOU" and "HELL YES" (as well as talent, of course).

You might find her around town at a park jamming on her acoustic bass (which is almost always slung across her back), while undoubtedly surrounded by a cloud of weed smoke. At the park, though, she's usually opting for more mellow stuff, not the frantic 160BPM+ she's used to hammering away at. You wanna jam? Come on along and try not to suck.

When not pursuing the life of a broke-ass punk star, she works for a paltry wage at an animal shelter/low income clinic. Most of that money goes right back into beer and wings at whatever pub she fancies that night.
