Background
South Pasadena is basically the 'nice suburb' in every movie ever. And it's where Veronica Rhodes grew up. A middle class girl, in a middle class household, who loved horses and ballet. She was only good at the latter, though. In fact, she was something of a natural. Physically capable of precision and grace, and able to understand and emote through her movements. Veronica attracted attention from dance programs throughout her young life. But none of them were as appealing as the Israeli woman who drove out from Los Angeles.
Because she heard the music, too. Not the same way that Veronica did, but they saw each other. Recognizing in the other the ability to find oneness and reach beyond the mundane shell.
Veronica has been training since she was young- a child really. A classic master/student
relationship, developing her skills as a dancer, as a mover, and through that, developing the discipline necessary to reach beyond herself. She's moved from her parents' house for school, and to continue her education. A first step into adulthood, and into the world of Magic as something other than a sheltered student.
