Biography
The story of Cleopatra "Clio" Fernandez is one of rags to riches. Born in Echo Park to poor, working class parents, she struggled through life, and was able to eventually get a full ride scholarship to Yale. She majored in theater and women's studies, and throughout her time at Yale was able to land a few small indie movies that landed critical acclaim on the film festival circuit.
As she grew older, she was able to land in a few commercially successful movies in relatively small parts. Her lucky break came in the form of a supporting actress role in "Splendor in the Green" which landed her multiple awards nominations for best supporting actress.
