	The Auditor Takumi Kuroda, known among the Garou as Judges-Beneath-Thunder, is a Homid Cliath Philodox of the Shadow Lords. Born and raised in Kyoto, Japan, Takumi was an only child and lost his father several years before his First Change. Raised primarily by his Kinfolk mother, Akiko Kuroda, he grew into a reserved, observant man with a strong respect for evidence, precedent, and personal responsibility. In his mortal life, Takumi serves as a relatively new Special Agent with IRS Criminal Investigation, where his work tracing financial crimes and concealed assets complements his natural tendency to look beyond appearances and determine what the facts actually support. Takumi relocated to Los Angeles alongside his mother as part of the Shadow Lords' renewed interest in the city. With the tribe rebuilding its presence after decades of relative absence, Takumi fills a useful niche as a young judge and mediator concerned with territorial claims, Garou law, and the growing disputes accompanying the arrival of outside Garou. Though ambitious enough to recognize the opportunities Los Angeles presents, he has not come to demand authority he has yet to earn. Instead, Judges-Beneath-Thunder intends to establish his reputation through competence, careful judgment, and service to the Sept - while keeping a close eye on exactly who believes they have a right to claim the city's future.
