Heir to a vast fortune, Sterling is the president of Barclay Lockwood Holdings, a large conglomerate with its headquarters in the Financial District. His grandfather started out in steel and logistics, but they've branched out in a number of different directions in recent decades. Despite his apparent youth, Sterling is accomplished in finance, law and politics, and oversees his empire from his top-floor office.
A member of Clan Ventrue, Sterling is old as far as vampires in LA go. Originally from Boston, he was a ghoul for over forty years before he was finally embraced back in the early 1970s. Following a falling out with his sire, he came to LA in the 90s along with a lot of the other local Camarilla, looking to stake his own claim as far from Boston as he could possibly get. He's been quietly building his power base ever since.
