Biography

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

The most interesting thing about Elizabeth Graham is the head-on collision that orphaned her. And though this may be a cruel thing to say about a living creature, that cruelty is at the expense of truth. It was this sudden violence -- and three panes of shatterproof glass -- that altered the trajectory of her life forever. When Elsie awoke, she found herself in the hospital. Fate had been kind to her, you see. How could it be that her little body had been shoved through all of that glass and fire and metal, only to be found with minor scrapes and bruises thirty feet away? And so Elsie did what any child would do. She called out for her mother.

But life is unfair, and fate is fickle. Elizabeth Graham lost her mother, father, and older brother in that crash, and would spend the rest of her life in and out of foster care within Los Angeles. On paper, Elsie was an ideal candidate. Quiet. Sweet. Deeply traumatized, but the wealthiest of LA love bit of pathos. And owing to her upbringing, she even had a charming little accent. And yet, in and out of foster homes she bounced, always chasing a forever that would never come. Everyone likes damaged goods until they're cut by bits of broken glass.

And all this is to say nothing of the more... unusual aspects of the young girl. The voices in the dark. The flicking shadows against the wall. Those haunting, twitching things she could always see, right there in the corner of her eye. The ambling sense of directionless that led her to a beautiful woman with sky blue eyes, and the second head-on collision that came when the woman taught her to see for the very first time. Nobody wants to be in a car crash. We just seldom have any choice in these things.
