• Order of Hermes: Tom's not just a member, he's a hereditary scion! The gift skipped a generation, so he wasn't exactly raised in the Tradition, but still. Older locals and historians might be familiar with his grandfather Teddy Towers, a money man and Dream Factory hanger-on in the middle of the 20th century, still kicking out in Las Vegas. Tom himself is as loyal to the Order as he is unpretentious about his membership.
• $$$Money$$$: Tom twists fortunes of all kinds to his Will, and he'd be pretty good at managing wealth even without sorcery to back his natural talents up. If you need someone to make sure your endowment's not gonna deplete this generation, he can take a look.
