Alaska
Alaska's tale began in the vibrant city of San Diego, where Hawkeye, a Galliard uktena of the Sept of the Great Medicine Spirit from Quebec, met and fell in love with Maria. Maria, a Glasswalker kin, and Hawkeye settled in California, specifically Los Angeles, where they welcomed their pride and joy, Alaska. Maria, with her technological prowess, introduced Alaska to the world of computers at a young age. Tragedy struck when Alaska was just 12 years old. The family was attacked, presumably by Black Spirals. In a desperate attempt to save Maria, Hawkeye witnessed the destruction of their apartment building, resulting in Maria's tragic death. Fearing for Alaska's safety, Hawkeye returned her to his family's sept in Quebec to raise her in the traditional ways, away from the looming danger, while he stayed in California.
Upon arriving at the Sept, Alaska was introduced to relatives she had never met, including her cousin River. Rejecting the old traditions, Alaska rebelled against the restrictions on her use of technology. Despite the challenges, she and River developed a close sibling-like bond.
Alaska's life took a supernatural turn at the age of 15 during a festival. Frustration triggered her first change, altering her training path. Collaborating closely with River, she dedicated herself to mastering the skills necessary for her Rite of Passage. Successfully completing the rite, she earned the name "Water Eats Rock."
As a Cliath, Alaska embarked on missions for the Sept, initially focusing on scouting patrols. As her skills improved, she joined River's pack, though she remained the younger sister figure. Frustrated by the limitations on her use of Weaver tech, Alaska persevered in meeting her duties.
Upon reaching twenty, Alaska sought to fulfill her father's original mission and requested approval from the elders to scout elsewhere. Intrigued by her past life in the city, she snuck away from Quebec to return to california to her former Sept in LA. Collaborating with her Glasswalker relatives, she eventually became part of the Uktena camp of Web Walkers. Specializing in computers, she assisted in managing online casinos run by the Glasswalkers as a cover. Over time, Alaska developed hacker skills, blending the old traditions with new ways of fighting while staying true to her roots.
