Clan Tremere maintain a monopoly on Thaumaturgy within the Ivory Circle, and often its periphery. This is a double edged sword, Clan Tremere are the paragons of Blood Sorcery and offer the fruits of their labour to Kindred, at a price of course. Tremere law governs the cost of rituals and rituals are broken down into three categories, trivial; minor; and major, each with their respective prestation cost. Some rituals come with additional costs, for any material components that might be consumed during the process or in the cases of hexes, curses, jinxes or scrying, it is required that the hiring Kindred provide a targeting component for their target. In such cases, the success of the ritual depends on the quality of the item provided; Failure is typically the result of a poor connection to the target and is the fault of the hiring Kindred, not the performing Tremere.
Trivial Rituals (1st and 2nd level)
- Blood Walk, for when you need to know your lineage.
- Brand, for when you want that new tattoo to stick.
- Craft Bloodstone, for when modern tracking devices aren't good enough.
- Donning the Mask of Shadows
- Encrypt Missive, for when the message absolutely has to be hidden.
- Impressive Visage, for when you want to kill it at Court.
- Learning the Mind Enslumbered, for when you need to know why someone is torpid or possibly dead.
- Sense the Mystical, for when you need to be sure you're not being magicked.
- Sigil of Authority, for when you need people to know who the fuck you are.
Minor rituals (3rd and 4th level)
- Scry, for when you want to know what someone is up to.
