Mmm! first opened its doors in spring of 2018 in Chicago, Illinois. From a humble mall kiosk it grew to its full potential, earning profit enough to move to a full-sized bakery. By 2019 it was employing eleven people on a part-time basis and three full-time employees, and the growth doubled when it opened up a new shop in Omaha, Nebraska. There it stalled out for eight months, a few missteps seeing profits dropped, and it doubled-down and opened up a third location in Trenton, New Jersey.
After a mysterious fire swept the newly-opened branch office, it was shuttered permanently and the move was made to Los Angeles, where the flagship operations have been moved and the original crews reformed under the original leadership.
