Background
Rujena grew up in a small multi-home settlement high in the midst of the Appalatian Mountain range. She was taught from birth, the path of deference to all of the "Chosen" of the sept. She spent hours hunting for game with her father or fixing the feast in the kitchen with her mother. She also worked hard at helping her community to capitalize on their 'Mountain Moonshine' productions.
Early on, she had moved near to Knoxville, Tennesee to live with a local medicine woman. She spent several years there studying under her and master the craft of herbalism. At the age of 24, Rujena returned home to find her entire sept had been brutally slain. She rapidly packed up her old stationwagon and left. She travelled as far away as possible, in hopes to find others of her kind in the City of Angels.
RP Hooks
 Kinfolk: Rujena lives for those moments when she can be of service to others. Whether it is offering a poultice to soothe a wound or feeding the hungry that are all around her.
Hunting: She loved to go hunting with her father and she can break down a carcass in no time.
Moonshine: Her entire community lived off the sales of their 'Mountain Moonshine'. She still enjoys whipping up a batch now and then to help bring on the party.
Herbs: She always has the good stuff on hand from her home town.
